$6,300/month and Rent Stabilization? Lord, have mercy! Rent control for the wealthy... It's a BEAUTIFUL apartment! The only negative that I have is that the gym only offers dumb bells up to 50lbs. Oh! and, cleaning that "to the ceiling" glass shower! But, if anyone is able to afford $6,300/month then that same person can endure a year of torture and live for much less with their parents, siblings, friends, whatever, and SAVE that type of money to use as a down payment to OWN something. Again, it's a BEAUTIFUL apartment but not at $6,300/month, IMHO.

This one pretty much checks all the boxes, with all the amenities that someone would need or want, though the subway trip to Manhattan would be relatively long. Even split, the rent is high, but increases in future years will be reasonable.

This is a nice respite from seeing those cramped, overpriced, renovated walk-ups you posted recently. I like that the bedrooms are at the opposite end of the apartment from each other. I even like the open concept kitchen/living room combo, which usually is not something I like, but in this apartment it works well. Rent stabilization is indeed a plus.

Nice apartment overall! I prefer the hall bathroom because it's got that nice deep bathtub instead of only a standing shower. It's nice that there are two full bathrooms, enabling whoever's living there to both get ready for work at the same time. The rent seems a bit steep for something that doesn't have in-unit laundry, though.

$6300 rent stabilized for a 1000 sq ft rooftop apartment in Williamsburg? Pretty rare for NY all that space and the view of Manhattan is cool. Its the ultimate NY penthouse. I can see it going fast for whoever has the money to move in because like Cash says, that lease would last longer than your relationship. I can’t see anything wrong with it apart from the cost of furnishing it. This tells everyone you’ve made it.

My rant on rent stabilization: The rent stabilized system is sometimes an arbitrary, random, inequitable mess. For instance, you can have the exact same apartment than the one below in your building and you could be paying twice as much rent. You may be making half as much money as that renter below you, but be paying twice as much rent. A lot of the new rent stabilized housing is needs based when you first move in, but if your salary quadruples after you move in, your rent stays the same and you don't get kicked out. The older rent stabilized housing is generally not needs based. The turnover of the lower priced rent stabilized units is very low, so your chances of getting those extreme bargains are very very low. Since half of the rental in NYC are not market rate rent, i.e., they are rent stabilized, rent controlled, Section 8, Mitchell Lama or NYCHA public housing, that makes the market rate apartments much more expensive.

I live north of Cincinnati (west Chester) and they have 3 br, 2-1/2 bath, dog park, fully equipped gym, full office w all the necessities, and some even come decorated and you’re about 15-25 min from Cincinnati for maybe 1500-2,000 a month. If I was a millionaire I’d buy 1000s of acres in undeveloped property and build all my loved ones their own homes. But if 6,500 mo rent for 1 br sounds just dandy to you, I hen rock on.

Some businesses don't have employees because potential employees can't afford housing. The raising of rents has to stop somewhere.

Pretty rare to see a rent stabilized in New York anymore. Love the space and has tons of potential to make this a home. The light bathroom is better than the dark in my opinion. Looking forward to more videos Cash, Keep it up!

44% of NYC's apartments are rent stabilized -- including mine here in Queens - so why do you say it's "rare" to see this?
