@@alexkemplen772 it technically is being very androgynous. Personally i would describe it not as someone who's gender is hard to tell but that they have such strong vibes in either direction of the binary genders and in-between in a very attractive and cool way

i’d personally say (as a trans person) that when people belong under the trans umbrella say “someone is gender” means that they give us gender envy! in the simplest terms it means that feel envious of someone’s presentation (masc/fem/androgynous) and appearance. kinda like “they’re so cool i wanna look like that after my transition” kinda thing

@@annlaaa130 Gender itself is how you perceive yourself towards being feminine, masculine, other, none or anything in between (it does not have to match how you like to dress -- it's more like a boy does not have to be told that he's a boy to know it, he just knows it) to put it the simplest way possible. In this context it's more about the gender envy, which is when your perceived gender matches someone else's looks (and not necessarily your own)

As far as I understand it, saying something or someone is gender is tied to the idea of gender envy and is about someone having features/characteristics that a person (or persons) would kill to have in order to match their ideal gender identity. I get mistaken as an elementary student when I fetch my younger brother. And like in my brother's grade school they're pretty strict about not letting the kids leave campus without a guardian since they're all too young.
