The verse to "White Christmas" is one of the best. Also "I Left My Heart in San Francisco".

I'd like to see a video on the art of fills. I love Louis Armstrongs fills behind singers in the 20s. Probably good advice to start the fill away from the singers note.

Another classic! I love Chet Baker's take on this song. These videos have done so much to help me learn to read music instead of just blindly memorizing notes. If I may make a request for another Chet Baker banger I'd love to learn - Everything Happens To Me!

That #4 (D) also has that B natural underneath (its harmonized in thirds) so even more beautiful.

You are such a good teacher, and I have not much of a clue as a kind of... intermediate beginner. You certainly bring it to life, and I am able to at least partially follow. Thanks, TW.

I just love the way you teach!!! Playing guitar professionally for 58 years, not a very good reader, but I can hear very well. I almost want to stop playing guitar for a couple of months and start studying piano with you. Thanks for all the great information. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😎🙏🏼🎼🎶🎵🎹🎵🎶🎼

I'm sorry I'm just discovering you now. I wish I had teachers like you when I was in college. You might be one of, if not, the best music educator I've encountered (certainly the best on KZbin). I love the way you make complicated issues relatively simple. That is a trait of a brilliant teacher. And you make it fun (I find myself laughing many times while listening to you). Great work. I hope you keep it going. Thank You.

Thanks Tony... lots of stuff in there to unpick! Like the use of some of the diminished scale as a flourish but well away from the 'melody note'. Don't think I've ever tried that and now I want to give it a go! Thanks again.

😂 I thought it was just me, i HATE most of those intros too. The only one I've heard that I can tolerate is the intro to pennies from heaven.

Hi Tony Question, did you ever do a lesson on No More Blues ? I really like Carmen McCrea cut on it and I'm curious on how you would play it . I enjoy your teaching and the way you explain and break down each song is easy to understand and fallow along. Thank you Darren

hi Tony, I have been listening to Boz Skaggs singing "What's New" (key of C). I found and printed a RB chart but feel like something is missing in voicings moving thru the chords. would you have a listen to the tune and see if you would be willing to do a tutorial on it ? thanks
