This is such an insanely cool loft apartment, theres no way around it. That being said its empty, and nobody’s living here at present. Could it be this manhattan new york city loft is too extreme for the average new yorker? Check out this nyc apartment tour of a Manhattan Loft with crazy windows and views (plus a private roof deck) and let me know if you’re ready to move in, or if we should keep searching for the perfect apartment.

I'm of the opinion that if there's a painfully narrow steep spiral staircase like that, there should be a fireman's pole available for the return trip.

or maybe a slide down the side of one of the walls. Sure it would take up space, but who wouldn't want a slide. Or maybe a climbing wall on that tall wall?

Absolutely! Go with the fireman's pole & beanbag chairs at the bottom for a safe landing. And the spiral staircase is screaming for some twinkle lights.

If I had a stair case like that one leading to a roof deck, I would make a pulley system tying a cable to something on the roof and then I would pull up containers, soil, and plants or seeds and make a rooftop container garden for vegetables, herbs, and maybe Agee flowers. Water could also be pulled up using lidded containers.

You get furniture to the roof deck using ropes and make sure it isn't anything too heavy. I probably would use the roof deck for growing tomato and pepper plants. It is kind of cute and if I were 40 years younger would probably enjoy living there.

Ooo apple fritters! Before groceries got so expensive and I had money for an occasional fast food meal, I'd get a 20 pc nuggets medium fries and 2 apple fritters. I'd put the fritters in sandwich bags and save for either a midnight snack or breakfast. I guess I'm going to have to learn to make them myself since groceries seem to get higher every month.

The spiral stairs are always a classy touch. That roof top deck is a huge bonus. One question Cash, landlords will give people their security deposits back if tenants leave garbage and debris behind and in the apartment ? Here in NC a lot of tenants lose deposit money for clean up costs and making changes that cause damage like those hooks on the pocket doors. Great video love seeing the city.

@RJ SAMCRO Each building has their own super who cleans and maintains. When I was leaving NYC a few years ago I ran out of time & had extra boxes & some items I wasn’t able to pack & take with me. Since we were friendly he said he would take care of removal without worries. But yes, if u leave an apt in bad condition you will loose some or all of your deposit. Always demand a walkthrough with the owners or super so they see how you’ve cleaned & maintained & can’t come after you with bogus claims once youve departed!! I lived in NYC for 30 years but had to move due to loss of job at height of COVID. Don’t think I’ll ever live there again but it was fun while it lasted!!!

By NYC standards it's a habitable space for three people and with a compact kitchen. The rooftop area is so small and cluttered that it's hardly worth the climb up those ankle-breaking stairs. From your description of where it is in relation to the subway, I'd say it was a significant hike. The per-person rent seems reasonable, but I'd look for something in a better location for my money.

So my question is, if the previous tenants just moved out, and the apartment hasn’t been turned over yet, or properly marketed as a new vacancy, how is it that “nobody wants it”?! I found the title slightly misleading because I’m sure with basic marketing, this apartment will rent in an instant. Does nobody really want to rent it? Has it been on the market for a while?! Or is it just mild clickbait haha.🤣 Love the videos, Cash!🙏🏼
