5-6 hours? Look at all the full gameplay videos of this game and you can tell I can be completed in 2-2.5 hours tops

CAVEAT: This game is just riddled with stutters and minor bugs. And they are so frequent that it ruins what was to be an immersive gaming experience. Jumpship: What a bummer to debut in this way. Seems the game has been fed through the cruncher. I am not not playing another minute until all these issues have been patched.

What platform are you playing on? From some of the reviews and my experience, it seems to be PC is where most of the technical issues are. I played on Xbox and I had one minor bug throughout the game that just required restarting checkpoint. I can understand the frustration as glitches and bugs can really break immersion and enjoyment.

same, many times the camera will just do a jump cut to a different angle that just doesn't fit the smooth camera pans from inside. I think they bit off a bit more than they could chew going from a primarily 2d game (Inside) to 3d. I've had lag spikes every 5 minutes too, even more in some areas even with a 3060 ti. the game just feels a little unpolished and unfinished.

@@RenatusChristoph Im sure you have a rig that can handle it, but it's clearly PC optimization that is the issue. Bummer to hear because the whole point of the game is immersion in the story and if you can't do that, then what is the point. They already released one patch for Xbox since I was given my review copy, so it seems like they are aware of issues and are working to fix things. If you have something else to play, maybe do that for a little and check back in to see if things have been patched. I also wouldn't worry about trying to avoid spoilers as the story could be interpreted many different ways and it would be hard to summarize into a spoiler.

I had the exact same train track glitch. I imagine if it's that common, it will be patched quickly. I enjoyed the game, I gave it a 8.5. Enjoyed your review.

Oh, really? That's funny as 😂 @VDGMS It should be, yeah. With the review copy I was given it said that there were known issues that they're trying to fix, so I could imagine this would be one of them. But thanks for the support! It's a really intriguing game to play, ey? - Anthony

@@TheBetaNetwork yeah same! I was told the same thing but I played that part before the patch. After the patch, I didn't experience any issues. It was very intriguing and hard to put down. I thought the pacing moved well and just like playdead games, the meaning is very open to interpretation. I have my theory

Full of bugs, puzzles are dumb, story is empty and not satisfying, controls are bad. Artistically speaking is a step back, among other things.

​@@TheBetaNetwork same I love the playdead games LIMBO AND INSIDE, and SOMERVILLE In my opinion the controls were very confusing but the story was great and sad at the same time without a doubt the best games I've ever played I hope to buy the gamepass again or save 300 dollars or in my country 500 MX I hope to play again limbo, inside and Somerville although I respect the opinions of others

​@@echonight2 I would say that it's the bugs alone that made my experience playing this game disappointing and frustrating. At times I wasn't sure if it was a bug or just that I wasn't solving the puzzle when I couldn't progress. Ugh. And this being the state of the game after its been out a long time on the Playstation is terrible. I guess Cocoon actually ended up being the better game of the 2 from the split.

Buy the damn game... Its more like a visual novel but it's awesome... 10/10
