in middle school i would walk to school and home to my house because of how close i lived to it. one night in 8th grade i was leaving from a musical rehearsal and it was totally dark outside - only street lights on. i heard a car driving down the street behind me slowly. wasn't immediately alarmed because when i turned around it looked like he was looking for a house (turning his head and checking both sides of the road, sticking his head out the window sometimes). he then pulled up right behind me and rolled his window down. he had apparently seen me around my home before, because he outright asked me if i was the girl that lived in my house, exactly describing what my house looked like and giving me a part of my address. immediately i said "no, i think you have the wrong person", and kept walking. he was trailing behind me and insisting i was, so i told him that my house was right here and i knocked on the door of a womans house. when she opened the door, i began acting like she was my mom, and gave her a long hug. but i actually whispered to her that the guy (who had LITERALLY parked his car in front of her house and was now watching us) had been following me and recounting where i lived. she let me in immediately and we called the cops. im a lot older now, and just saw that the man who had tried to follow me home was a convicted sex offender and was arrested for the rape of a young girl. terrifying. EDIT: it has come to my attention that a lot of young people are seeing my comment. so please, if you ever find yourself in a situation like mine; deny, deny, deny. don’t tell them who you are, don’t tell them where you’re going, don’t accuse them of anything in the moment. also, please don’t do what i did unless you’re fully out of other options. people can be absolutely disgusting, and you never know what you’re getting yourself into when you’re being vulnerable with a stranger. however, if you feel like something is going to happen, trust yourself - only you know what’s best in the moment. stay safe xx

i was an adult already when this happened, but it still shook me up a bit. it was about 11pm and my mom and i had a falling out, so i had left the apartment and walked a couple blocks down to an empty bus stop and sat down. i called up my sister who lives in another state and was talking to her. i look to my left and see this red beater pulling out of the neighboring complex; nothing off about that usually, except for the fact that they were waiting and waiting there even though there were no cars going down the road. they had plenty of space to turn. there was a man and two girls in the car. this set off an alarm in me, so i stood up and started walking back home while i was still on the phone, making sure to keep the car in my view until i felt like i was far enough away. something in me just screamed at me to look behind myself just one more time. lo and behold, the two girls had gotten out and started walking down the same sidewalk. i switched to the other side of the street. they did the same exact thing. swapped sides again, they did it again. i realized then that they were following me, so i started walking faster. then they start RUNNING and yelling "hey, come here" and laughing like idiots. when i say i ran like an absolute trackstar back to the apartment, i mean it. never ran so fast in my life. my guess is they wanted to steal my phone, but whatever their actual intentions were, they weren't good. at least my sister was on the phone with me the entire time.

A year ago, while i was at my house, an ice cream truck pulled up to my house and i walked out to see who it was, and then i asked for a scoop of ice cream, he gave it to me and when i tried to go he told me to try it and tell him how it tasted. Alright this is my story, I was watching KZbin shorts then suddenly I decided to ride my bike. But I made the most horrible decision ever as while I was riding my bike I saw this mysterious black van with no windows pulling up right to me. I was suspicious so my stupid ass decided to ride more but the van kept on following and at that point I knew that something was up. So I decide to run as fast as I could to my house but then the van followed me and it was like the van was a lambo because it was going insanely fast. Chapter 2 So now I’m safe in my house but the van was still there but then it suddenly drove off but after that I got a Amber Alert… That somebody (I won’t say there name) was kidnapped in a black van no windows. After that I was shook and I thank God I didn’t stay longer if I did they would of ran out the car and got me so I was scared for the entire week I had to get my parents to drive me to school because I ain’t walking you okay after that incident? Here are some tips to stop a kidnapper in an Uber. 1. Make sure the car and the person look the same and have the same name. 2. If they act suspicious, make sure to ask questions about it. 3. When my mom was in college, she took a taxi to her house, once she got in, a guy grabbed her down and held her mouth shut, my mom was obviously scared but kept calm, she saw the the door wasn't locked so she took her chance, she waited till they were about to pass the local police area, she kicked the person holding her, and with her other hand she opened the door and literally SPRINTED FOR HER LIFE to the nearest officer. BUT the car got away, I hope those people aren't at this anymore. Stay safe all! And trust your gut

Story time: When I was 13 I was walking my dog. Then I come up to this rlly nice looking house and a guy mowing the lawn of that house. Now I don’t like walking where there’s no where I can run or hide, so I was taking it very slow making sure nothing happened to me or my dog. Then as I approach the house the guy mowing his lawn stopped, leaned on the bars, stood there, watched me walk, then started walking towards me. Now I didn’t want to run and seem suspicious, so I swiftly walked out of that situation ans eventually I heard the lawn mower start up again. 😅 I always avoid that house.. Not so long after that happened, I was walking that way again. And I saw the man come out of his house, watch me walk. He then just look me down and go back to his work. I’m probably just going crazy but I think he’s up to smth. 😅😢

This was a few months ago. I went to the river with my family, and it was kind of a long walk from where we were to the car. My dad needed me to go back for something in the car, and on the way back I meet some guy acting very nice sitting looking into the water and we have a little chat and I keep on walking. But the weird thing is, he follows me back to my parents car. His car is parked not far from our car but in the path from our car to the path. I get in and grab what I need and as I was about to leave I seen him open his trunk and move some things from there into the front of his car. He leaves it open and is on his phone standing next to the trunk which is in the way from me getting to the path. He kept glancing over at the car. I didn’t have my phone because I left it at home. So I grabbed my dads gun that he left in his bag in the car. He taught me how to shoot his gun in case of need, so I got one in the chamber. I put it in my pants and acted like I was strapped. Which I was, and tried to walk by and he took a few steps in my direction. So I lifted the handle out a little and looked at him, we both nodded and i left. My mom got an amber alert an hour later about a car matching the same description as that guy had, had kidnapped a little girl about 7 years old.

Here’s a story I went through when I was a kid at middle school: This is real!: Okay I was in 5th grade and we came back from the holidays and there was the man in his ice cream truck the parents loved him even the kids we all thought he was a sweet heart but he stopped coming for 1 year and we all were wondering why and there was news that I saw on tv showing the man that he killed and r4p3ed over 7 kids..I was just disturbed at that point and when I found at he was being released he would still come to my school handing out ice cream some kids believed he changed..but I was right when I didn’t believe him he said it was his “birthday”and it would be an honour to have some children come over obv the parents asked if they could come for checking up on the kids and the man said “sure why not” So basically I didn’t go and I was worried but the next day when I went to school again half of the kids didn’t show up and I saw half of the kids best friends and I went to ask over and they said “mind your own buisness kid.”and they has never been that rude the parents were always nice but the women I asked had a messy bun with dark spots and bruises on her arms saying repeatedly “Did I trust him was it the right decision??” I’m still traumatised by wha happend… Like for part 2 PART TWO SINCE SOME OF YALL WANTED IT!

So I went to the park near my old house There was many kids going along, monkey bars and everything normal But than a van with broken windows and a rusted wheel pulled up The van was spray painted to say on the side “Free ice cream in the trunk” I didn’t notice until a phone started playing the ice cream song A lot of kids ran over there and tried to get in the trunk I pushed them all away I was the oldest at the park But anyway I told them they would get taken and hurt Assuming the guy was bad They all ran to their parents and so did I 4 days later A amber alert said “ 6 year old in a dress was kidnapped at *hell nah I ain’t telling yall* park” I was scared I guess I didn’t see her crawl in the van. about 4 years ago my brother went missing i was crying in my room when i heard a scream it was about 8 pm,my mother and father where gone on a business trip. i could not sleep so i gone to my neighbour's house, when i got there i heard the scream getting harder and harder by then i was crying ,my neighbour opened the door and she was also crying,we both went to the police and told them everything,that night they told us a patient from a mental hospital got out,by then i was shaking, my neighbour and i slept at the police station because we where to scared to go back ,the next morning they found my brother on the other side of town,he told them he was walking back from school when a man threw him in his car and drove of,i was very happy to see him again just petrified from what happend the other night,the next day they found the patient with a knife under my neigbours portch i didn't know how we survived but im glad we did.

Obviously all of us were freaked out, so we "scattered" which probably wasnt a good idea. Me and my friend went one way and the other 5 or 6 of them ran up a different street (that they knew had a shortcut through to the turf) and after a few minutes of jogging and continuously checking behind us, we made it. But the others hadnt shown up yet and it been another 5 minutes, so we started worrying. We thought the worst of what couldve happened, and since me and my friend got there early the gates werent open yet. After about 20 MINUTES they showed up with bright red, paniced faces. Me and my friend were so relieved to see that they were okay, and we asked them what happened. They said that after we ran , the van turned down the street that they ran down and it pulled up NEXT TO THEM AND ASKED IF THEY NEEDED A RIDE, AND TRIED TO GRAB THEM. luckily we all ended up safe in the end and the coach pulled up a few minutes later to unlock the turf.

Just wanted to share this crazy story that happened when I was 8. So, it was around 9 PM, getting pretty dark outside. I was in the front yard, playing with my favorite toy, just minding my own business. Out of nowhere, my dad shows up and catches me in the act! He had this super serious look on his face and asked me what I was doing. I was so surprised and didn't know how to explain. Then he started asking about the person I was talking to, and that's when I realized something was totally off. Turns out, my dad had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. He saw a shady figure lurking around and decided to follow me, just in case. Thank goodness he did, because he managed to intervene before anything bad happened. I couldn't believe it when he told me that he saved me from a possible kidnapping! I was shocked and scared all at once. My dad is my hero, seriously. He made sure I was safe and sound, and I couldn't be more grateful for his quick thinking and protective instincts.

About a year ago, there was a dark grey car near my dad's house. I didn't know our neighbors well and I still don't and our other neighbors house burned down a few years earlier. We were playing outside when someone went out of the car in black clothes, walking towards me and my older brothers. We were scared and ran inside the house locking the door. It was on a Friday so our mom was bringing us to her house. Our dad saw the situation and the person saw my dad and ran away not knowing there was an adult nearby. They drove away and my mom came an hour or more after. She warned about that same grey car that was near our house saying they were attempting to kidnap young kids. We don't currently know if they were arrested, but we've never seen the car again.

I've had my fair share of kidnapping experiences, so I guess I'll share one. This was around 2 years ago, I was 13 at the time. Yea pretty young for this type of encounter. This happened when me and my friends stayed out late. We said our goodbyes, and separated ways. It was probably like 11 PM by now, and I wasn't even halfway home. I realized something odd, and that would be a black old looking sedan, seemingly tracking me down. I didn't think much of it at first, but I then came to the realization that it was following me. The windows were tinted, but I got a little glimpse of the inside, and saw 4 dudes. One of them I'm pretty sure had no clothes but underwear on, and the rest were normally dressed. I started to speed walk, and then the car started to speed up. I was on the side of the sidewalk to where I would be able to talk with the person on the driver's side, and I say this because it happened. The guy honked his horn at me, rolled down his window, and asked if I needed a ride home. and I politely declined, but the guy seemed almost desperate. He asked again, and I said no again. My adrenaline started to kick in when the guy in the front passenger seat got out of the car. He had longish brown hair, a stubble beard, and he was atleast 6'3. He walked towards me, and obviously I started to run. He didn't chase after me. Instead, he got back into the car and they started chasing me from there. Once the car caught up to me easily, they swerved onto the sidewalk trying to hit me, but I got out of the way. I guess they didn't see me, cause I ran into an alleyway thingamajig, and they didn't follow me in there. I hid behind a trashcan because it was a dead end, and waited. I heard one of them yell "Where did that fucking brat go?", and then overheard one of them talking about raping me, and torturing me when they get their hands on me. This brought tears to my eyes. I was genuinely horrified. I thought I was going to die. I waited around 5 minutes or something like that until one of them got close. The one in his underwear walked into the alleyway I was in. I thought I was screwed. I was ready to be caught. Until something happened that I truly believe God did. A police officer pulled up with his sirens blaring. The guy in his underwear ran out of the alleyway to somewhere. I don't know what happened, but I saw a flashlight shine down the alleyway, I peeked over the trashcan, and saw the officer. He saw me, and told me to put my hands up. I obeyed and came out from behind the trashcan, and he realized I was just a kid. He asked if I was okay, I said "yeah, I'm fine." He asked what I was doing, and that basically led to me telling him the whole story. Apparently he has arrested one of them, but the others got away. It was the driver that was arrested, and I never got to see him very well. All I can remember is ginger hair. The officer got me home safely and I told my parents the whole thing. I want to thank God for sending that amazing officer to save me, and I thank the officer for saving me. I went on with my life after that, and I don't know if the other guys were caught yet. Thank you for reading one of my kidnapping experiences. 😊 I've noticed everybody praying for me, and thank you. Just cause I feel like it I'm telling another story. This one happened probably when I was around 11, so younger than the other story. This is when I lived in an apartment with parents (cause they couldn't afford a house), and it was in a kinda dangerous-ish part of my city. I can't remember what I was doing before, but there was a knock at the door. It was broad daylight, so I looked through the peephole. Only my dad was home, bit he was asleep. Another knock, but this time the person on the other side of the door said "come out for free candy!". I looked through the peephole. I still don't know what to think of this, but it was a most definitely above 6'2 male that was JACKED, white, butt ass naked, had a blue duorag on, and had a DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Right away, I went to wake up my dad. I told him about what happened, and he said to get in the closet. I did so, and so did he, my dad called the police, and eventually the guy went away. The police got there And investigated but didn't find anything. That's pretty much it. Don't have much time so I kinda shortened it. But yeah that's my other story. Im a dude... Ok so here's my story. (Sorry if it's too long) So me , my sister and my mom were going out at a restaurant or my mom's friend's house I don't remember but we didn't have a car at that time so we used to uber and so we called a taxi and they said ok and they came very fast like we didn't even have to wait 2 mins. One time, when I was like 8 or 9 and smth, I was walking from school to home, alone. My mom wasn't home she was at a docs appointment. Everything was going good, like always. Then, some random boys, like the age 16-17, started following me, and I thought nothing because they also got outta school, but then, they started running and yelling my name. How did they even know my name? But thank god I was fast, but still scared. But thankfully, my mom drove past me, and when I saw her, I was whisper ing in my mind "Mom!" And then, when they saw me hopping to my mom's car, they ran away. Being a 8 yr old, I ofc started crying and told everything to my mom. Idk what they wanted, I think they wanted to beat me up, maybe r**e me. Because I was a kid, so I was an easy one. I'm still wondering what they wanted. Next time, when I was coming home from my dance class, and again, I saw them, but this time, their friends we're with them. Then they yelled "Hey, little girl! Come here!" And I yelled "No!" And I started running, and they were chasing me. Thank god I already had enough time to run to my house and they ran away again. Every night, for 1 and half weeks, I was scared to go out myself, so I asked my friends if they can walk with me, and thankfully they said yes. I'm still thinking they wanted to @buse me and r@pe me..

Ok, so everyone is sharing their nearly kidnapped storys so I'll share mine, this happened last year. I was at work with my mom and a customer came in and looked around but didn't buy anything, something felt off but I engorged it. He said he had a dog in his truck and that if I followed him I could see it, I informed him that I would ask my mom if I could. I went to ask my mom and she said no, just looking out for me. When I went to look for the man I saw him driving away. Later that same day a similar experience happened but the second guy actually brought out an older Pomeranian dog that was blind in one eye. Now that I'm thinking back to it I never did see a dog in the first guys truck when I went with my mom to it. (The first truck was white and the second one was red but they had pretty much the exact same shape)

So here my mother's story As she is a working woman ( my mom ) she arrive from bus to home at 3 pm but oneday the bus stopped a littlr far away from the spot the bus slways stops on. There was a tree there snd guy was sitting under the tree looking likea beggar he started to walk behind my mom . My mother was getting suspicious when she arrived at main gate of house she fastly opened the gate and locked it because the guy was really ealking fast ehen he noticed my mother arrived at home . He was taking out something sharp like a knife but my mother was faster then he went little far way and act likr beggar again thrn my mother came out at 5 pm and told the neighbour's labour ( there was construction going on ) to get him out and told everything about as the beggar began to act innocent my mom angrily took out her chappal and showed and after few minutes he was gone..

Earlier, me and my mom went to a market called "palengke" in Philippines to buy some fish for tonight and some peanuts and fruits. When we were done, we got into a jeep to go back home, when i noticed the jeep was very bumpy and broken, like the front seat beside the driver's seat was broken. And there was this guy, that had to help some old ladies to put the things they bought into the jeep and the guy said to the driver "gi guba man nimo imong jeep" in English "why did you break your jeep" (in a joke way) and then the driver got really annoyed so when there was red light he shouted at the other jeep drivers that there were a crazy guy in the market. The old ladies got really annoyed with him. And then noticed the ID hanging in the front seat looked nothing like the driver. I was so relieved when we finally got to our destination.
