Discovered Cleo and her team because of her Wired interview a few weeks ago, and immediately followed her on every platform I could to support their efforts. Phenomenal journalism, sorely needed positive commentary, and such crisp design work in every aspect of their brand👏 I’ll absolutely watch and/or listen to Huge Conversations. I honestly think Cleo joined KZbin at the right time. With all the advancements in AI and other technologies that make me feel more pessimistic about our future, she is like a ball of optimism, she's so so fun and happy!

Thankyou for trying to bring optimism back to new technology and looking into the future! I am 64 and grew up with that, However, then we had Mrs Thatcher and you had Ronald Reagan and the future stopped looking so good. I am still optimistic but younger people I work with (in IT) are not.

My huge conversation today was with an elder minister/missionary revealed a more complete version of the word NO… means Next Opportunity meaning you now have the freedom to say YES to something else. Likewise with technical advances solve problems but also create problems. There are always repercussions/unintended consequences. ✌🏻❤️🇺🇸🙏🏻🌎

Sometimes what's not seen as a success leads to huge changes in the world, sometimes for the better! All advances in science and technology have a chance to improve the world for all that follow. More of us should look optimistically at all the developments going on as each step forward in our understanding of the world presents opportunities to make the world better! Cleo, you asking the question, "what if _____ succeeds?" is the same question I aimed my university thesis at. My degree was for therapy and counseling, but I too found that flipping the question into a potential positive helped bring about new ways of thinking! Super excited to listen to these.
