To anyone reading this, hit the subscribe button on boodaman: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fai3Z2qsrNGqaZYsi=jD54yeZVIHd15TWe (And then watch, like, and comment, on his video! Or not. Hitting the sub button was probably enough!) Come on, only 30 subs to go until he’ll have the option to remove ads in the middle of his videos! The more Stephane posts, the more I’m going to be encouraged to post; then we’re both encouraged to up our game as a result. Net effect is you end up with better tunes to listen to :)

🤣🤣 _Right?!_ I have a Rob Scallion video cued up after this, where he's with a module synth artist. Thumbnail is them next to dude's synth, and it's titled: "Modular Synth (this is not a spaceship, it's an instrument!)" haha He's not wrong, though... All the patch cables and knobs definitely give off a 50s-era, NASA Apollo lander vibe! 😅
@py_a_thon7 ай бұрын
Most of the time it is ADSR(Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelopes attached to Volume, Cutoff and Reso. Or it is the knob for a lowpass, hipass or bandpass filter that is linked to the ADSR envelopes, or is a global filter added in the daisy chain. Sometimes it is a setting that is part of an FX chain. Flangers, phasers, delays, whatevers.

Outstanding performance! The complexity and effort involved in orchestrating this are truly astounding. At least you are not burdened with the task of transporting equipment for a show into a natural setting, this time. It must be a lot of work to set it up with so many patch cables and the rest. Thanks for sharing.

specifically to define the experiments he's making? Probably not. Most similar artistically speaking is Todd Terje. If you want things with a similar vibe, you can try these genres (and a few specific Artists): Trance (Solarstone, Orkidea, Above & Beyond), and Deep House/Melodic Techno (Lane 8, RUFUS DU SOL, Tinlicker), and for that old school synth sound, Miami retrowave/synthwave (Waveshaper, Droid Bishop, FM-84),
