Lol, they prob ate him up asap, an option is to put them in the shallow part, among the reeds. In general, frogs need fish free ponds to thrive and propagate.

Good grief, people don't know how big a koi would have to be to eat that frog. Sure, it's possible one of those could have nommed him real fast, but the likelihood that they got him in their mouth and went "Nope, too big." is huge. Also frogs swim excellently.

Okay so i researched this just for this video, so you're welcome 😂 firstly, that is a toad, not a frog... secondly koi eat frogs but not toads, so he's safe 😂... if it has lumpy skin, 90% chance its a toad. So yeah a koi would try then spit it out... hopefully 🤞 because if not both a toad and a fish died 😂

It happens. Don't beat yourself up about it too much. Fish will eat anything that fits in their mouth, meaning frog legs are a wonderful snack to koi. I'm sure they'd bite the rest too and cut it up into pieces quickly. Sorry about the graphic description but I wanted to illustrate how fish work lol

I love how everyone is acting like you found a frog that had lived forever in one spot and took them elsewhere. Like it’s got survival instincts & is supposed to deal with fish & crawfish & other predators. The koi aren’t going to attack like piranha & it’s not a domesticated frog! 😂😂
