"Roger is going to take very, very good care of you. Because if he doesn't; HE'S GOING BACK TO THE SCIENCE LAB!" Can never get enough of that line, raises so many questions- has Roger messed up several times before, or Is the mom bipolar? How bad was the Science lab and how did Roger end up as baby herman's nanny?
@afriendofbean5 жыл бұрын
+Erik Boden Actually yes, Roger has messed up before where this movie was made in the year 1988 and there was another "Roger Rabbit" and "Baby Herman" cartoon called "Tummy Trouble" made in 1989 and in the beginning of "Tummy Trouble", Baby Herman was crying that his mom was going out where the mom said "don't cry, mommy will be gone for an hour, Uncle Roger will take care of you and everything will be just fine, not like last time" where after the mom said "not like last time", she said it in a high pitched voice while hitting Roger in the face where she was probably referring to this scene here. In answer to your question about the Science lab, maybe Baby Herman's dad works there and he was going to put Roger to sleep and dissect him but, the mom stopped the dad knowing and feeling that Baby Herman will love to have a rabbit as a babysitter.

You know what would be a cool movie for Disney to do? Making a film that features live-action, hand-drawn, and computer animated characters in a storyline that fictionalizes the conflict between traditional and computer animation? You could have the main character be a kid whose grandparent is a retired cartoonist, and a parent who work with computer animation, and he/she gets caught between the computer animated characters who are relishing their popularity, and the toons who are getting pushed out. It would be a great way to explore the two styles of animation, pay homage to traditional animators, and give everyone a good old dose of nostalgia. Don't you think?

sha11235 Most likely Roger would actually see stars instead of birds.

They never made it, but it was most likely that, after seeing stars, Roger would try to make baby Herman a proper healthier snack and pile up the baby chair with mush only to find the seat empty and the kid wandering off for yet another cookie. In the end, the mother would either fire Roger Rabbit or claim he did such a wonderful job that she wants to hire him again resulting in Roger saying "Oh pl-l-lease no ma'am! I'd rather go back to the science lab!" and he'd rush out the door wearing a lab coat. The end.

If you were a toon and something would fall on your head, what would you see?
@bobpaul11437 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing a white flash (because some animations simulate the eyes being hit by producing a brief flash) then the objects floating around your head in question, but only those objects until your vision recovers.

I have a book about hand drawn animation and I never read it. :C I'd rather have Richard William's book and know ALL ways to apply to animation. not just something I need heavy machinery just to take a picture of every drawing I would draw, and then again, there's a lesson in this: I just need to practice. And I use flash, so...
