Love this bro! I have a ton of tomatoes in the greenhouse. Same here, waste not, want not! Nothing goes to waste, if only everyone on the planet lived by these ideals, the world would be a better place. Oh yeah, I "wing it" when cooking too! It's the only way! After the toms are cooked you can also freeze the mixture to preserve them. Cheers Paul. :D

@@MarkBryanRC It's the only way. It makes you thankful for what you have not what you want.. right on Mark.. full circle kinda living.. I tell my daughter like this. Baking is like chemistry details matter but when cooking you are layering flavors and creating.. live small and achieve big.. Thanks my friend I agree the world would be better if evryone lived this way even a little bit.. man does that word salad even make sense haha..

Pretty cool.. always good to have food for rough times. I was thinking you could make marinara sauce out of that, but I think you need a different kind of tomato to get the flavor right. Have a good weekend!

We do different types. these guys are best for diced we will be doing crushed and stewed next.. all are bases I use to make homemade sauce.. Believe whole hearted in waste not want not..

Yeah, man, that's like putting sunshine in a jar, use it on a rainy day! Yeah, we got a great tomato harvest this year also, I tried pickling them for the first time, very tasty! And my wife fermented two batches, that's great too! Lovely stuff, gotta love summer!
