I always thought that this was quite a complex piece and yet you explain it so clearly and bring it all together seamlessly. Excellent lesson.

My fave one since I was a kid. Idk how much your actual lesson is that you advertise, but I'm going to find out- because I'm going to bet it has to be one of the best virtual lessons around for people who want to learn how to play & self taught armatures like myself!!! Excellent teaching- I think that with enough practice, anyone (including myself!) can learn to play with your teaching methods and how well it's broken down- and EVERY step, no short cuts, skipping the difficult stuff- it's pretty awesome! I'm excited to have found a way to learn on my own!!! Thanks so much!!! 😁🤘🏼✌🏼

I just need to say this was brilliantly presented and I love the way you broke it down literally note by note. I play some acoustic so that part wasn't really a problem for me to follow, but I'm only just beginning to teach myself to play some lead, and the way you demonstrated those parts here was clear and concise - even for a total beginner like me. Thank you.

Thank You times a Million - This solo is beautiful in context but out of context, it doesn't "make sense" - "simple" but almost impossible to figure out listening to the song - But the way you break it down - Amazing - AND you link to a FULL tab - Wow - Thanks Again!!!

Awesome lesson man! Been keen to learn this solo for a while, which is actually not too bad once broken down like this! Keep it up! Looking forward to more John Mayer/RHCP/Jimi Hendrix /Damien Rice/Classic songs from the 70's & 80's. Have a crack at Little Wing ;) I really enjoy the electric lessons!

Dave, you are making 'The Best most Complete' tutorials .....Any Where, Perfect! Too bad This makes many people 'think' that you could 'Ever' do ....So Many 'rare' toons, 'They' just Don't unnerstand How much Time it Must take to *Put ALL of this together* for just ONE song?
@q49913 жыл бұрын
On happening across this 'Comment' from 9 months ago, I had to take 10 min. to figure out what &%^& 'i' was thinking!! In 10 minutes 'i' finally figure that 'i' Meant: "To people who Request that 'Dave' please Make (not Easy, Cameras, Recording, Chord etc. Displays) So, 'i' Meant: Don't request some 'little known' song as if it's *Easy* for 'Dave', the guitar is Easy for Him, but Producing a High Quality Video like this, is Not easy, cheap or worth doing for some Song that 'most people' maybe never Heard Of ? So: Don't 'request' little known tunes, yer just wasting everyone's time. ('i' Thunk?)

Apparently these elec. guitar "riffs" which I always identified with the Beatles...actually came from George: A VERY distinctive sound!!!
@q49914 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I always knew That much, but other people always put him down compared to Many Other players?? What I didn't know was that He was Always *Great* cause, unlike 'Clapton' and other major 'Improvising guitarists', His solos were more Planned out and the result is 'Very Melodic' , like a song in itself. And Very, very Unique!! 'Stephen King' in one of his early books said: " George, You can't hide under a New Band Name, WE Know 'Your Guitar Sound' " ....s'truth!

THE best Complete song tutorials, 'i' have seen *Anywhere* ! I just read 'My Comment' from 9 months ago...Frankly, 'i' haven't a *Clue* what the &*^^ 'i' was 'thinking' or 'what 'i' meant' by *That* comment. Therefore, 'i' Want to Retract IT. I am Sure that 'i' was Trying to compliment Dave Tran, just as 'i' am Now, but 'i' made my comment (duh) sound like either Criticism or BS! I Know this since 'Dave Tran' impressed me completely and right away! Somebody Please: Take that BS away, *Must have been 'The Virus'* !!

There are a lot of musicians who play other instruments, just learning guitar and can already read music. I would strongly suggest you use music with tab AND standard notation. Tab alone has makes little musical sense from a visual perspective for classically trained musicians. With both systems you teach the untrained musician how to read music and the trained musician where to find the notes and associate both position and note.
