This song was released by Sting and Algerian singer Cheb Mami before Faouzia was born. She's modified it a bit, but she sings it at all her concerts. I think I heard it's one of her parents' favorites. She does it so well.

You should check out a few of her songs that she hasn't made more than just a lyric video for, like Thick and Thin; I Know; or SoLie - all of these are emotion filled 'sad' songs. There's also 100 Bandaids; My Hearts Grave; the cover of I'm Blue from Eiffel 65. She has such a way to just pull you in. Enjoy discovering more of her works!!

It’s a cover but it’s completely different from the original.. i recommend you hear the original as well by Sting and Cheb Mami.. it’s a great song I grew up listening to. Faouzia’s stripped down songs and covers are always fantastic. I recommend you her own original Tears of Gold (definitely the Stripped version) and her cover of I’m Blue (Da ba dee) by Eiffel 65
