It reminds me of WWII. 1) the Soviets claimed in their reports that they destroyed X German tanks, but the number is 3x the total number of tanks the Reich ever managed to field... 2) The allies made similarly inflated claims about Tiger sightings and kills. It seems that every Panzer IV was labeled a tiger... Unlike the Skinwalker sightings, I can understand these claims. For one, at long distances, things get difficult and it's easier to explain your losses, if the enemy is painted as an unstoppable hightech army...

Considering the internet allows billions of people worldwide to be connected is it really a surprise that we get a lot of stories? Combine that with the fact that statistically not all of these stories are true (and by true I mean the writer actually experienced something, whether it was actually what they think it was or not) basically in this age of communication where our worlds are bigger than the area we live in we should expect to see and hear a lot more of everything, good and bad.

I live in Cana Va, just 5 miles across the NC border and town of Mt. Airy, NC. If you google the area you will see HWY 52& HWY 77 both running north. I live on the road called Brushy Fork which connects the 2 Hwy's on the VA side and just at the base of the Blue ridge Mtn's. If you look at the elevation climb its quite rapid and all along the ridgeline down there are caves gallore and stories of all kinds of creatures that nobody has a name for. I never saw any but many other locals have seen a Bigfoot type of creature and they hide in those caves that go for miles. Check it out and you may have even been in the area before. Happy hunting!

33 years ago I went to go visit my uncle and my aunt that lived near the Blue ridge mountain.... I remember the land being really Rocky.... We stayed there 5 days with my parents..... When I got there I noticed that there was a gun in every corner of the house and I said Uncle Tom why in the world is there guns in every corner of the house..... And his response was for protection..... I said from what bears mountain lions? He said oh no no no something much worse than that..... Then he proceeded to tell me that many times he would be in his living room and he'd look out his porch door that was all glass but the wooden deck was no longer there so he always kept it locked it was 7 ft to the ground.... And he told me that there would be creatures staring in staring at him and my aunt with big red eyes sometimes big yellow eyes.... I said oh come on that's BS then my aunt who is not known to lie spoke up and said no no your uncle's telling the truth this time lol then right after that he asked me if I wanted to go out with him to check on the cows it was about 10 pm.... He picked up his rifle and me and my dad followed him out and we walked around the corral and just as we was walking around the corral we seen something leap over his 6 foot corral fence needless to say we about dropped a load in our pants... It was huge bigger than a man and it took off quickly we quickly checked the cows to make sure they are all right then we all booked it back inside.... And I was so happy that the guest room was on the second floor 😆🙏🏻 That last day my Uncle Tom gave me a really nice lock blade.... And we whittled wood together and he told me more stories about when he was younger running upon the ridges and seeing bizarre strange things.... My Uncle Tom passed away 21 years ago.... And all the other elders in my family are gone now but I still remember these stories and I told them to my children.... And hopefully they'll tell them to their children....
