It's not the free clothes that has irked me the most: it's the things Starmer has said about accepting £20K in donations for accommodation because his son needed somewhere to revise for his GCSE's. Starmer said "'But if you're a 16-year-old trying to do your GCSEs and it's your one chance in life - I promised him we would move somewhere, get out of the house and go somewhere where he could be peacefully studying...." What about the kids who were happy and doing well in their independent schools but who have had to leave because their parents couldn't afford the 20% VAT? People send their children to independent schools for more than one reason - it's not always about the academics. For some who have had to leave, their school might have been their haven and their "one chance in life" too. The hypocrisy of a man who couldn't care less about the upheaval other children might suffer bleating on about his own son's "one chance in life" makes me sick!

I am over pensionable age and continue to work out of choice and pay my taxes. I find it very frustrating and quite wrong that well paid politicians can claim heating allowances on thier second homes and get numerous perks in the House of Commons from the taxes I pay when they are depriving pensioners of their heating payments. In my view, government should be paying the heating bills of low income pensioners and give tax relief for those who can afford to pay for heating themselves. Billions of GbP are being spent on ideological projects that are of little or no advantage - and even to the detriment - of the vast majority of people of this country.

I can tell you what is happening. We have a very influential Muslim man advancing the cause of his religion. When Muslims break the law it is a softly, softly approach. If these people riot the police allowed it to happen. However, if there are any protest about this unfairness the police come down heavy. Islam believes that the ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS. You can commit any crime as long as it advances Islam. There is an Islamophobia law heading for the statue books. Where we are not able to even criticise Islam. Look back to the riots which occurred in July. Compare the difference and responses to the 2different riots which occurred. In the Leeds riot buses were set on fire, police cars were destroyed, men encouraged their wives and children to take part in the riots. The police stood back, without body armour and did nothing. In fact a woman screamed for the police to do something and she was one who was arrested. In all of this no comment was heard from the government. And the media hardly reported on it despite it continuing for nearly two weeks. Then came the protests about those three young children being murder. The first comment we heard when somebody dared to throw a question at Starmer was “they were uneducated, work in class, plebs.” When protests occurred the protesters were quickly labelled by THIS GOVERNMENT to be Far Right Thugs and the police came at them in full body armour. Yes there was violence but nothing like the violence which occurred in Leeds. Let us not forget
