So much nostalgia to see nintendo64. We had it in family in 1997 with Turok1 and Mario64. I remember we didn't have money to buy a memory pack, so each day we had to (I with my cousin) to start Turok1 from scratch and try to reach later levels without any save.

@@accessarea6 some time ago, I was fixing Nintendo Wii for my colleague. And I installed WiiWare, which is official Nintendo's emulation of older generations. And I installed the Mario64. I started it, only to check how it is working on Wii pad. For the first 5-10minutes it was fun. So I did 2-3 quests/stars, and then I was gone - I couldn't stop. Finally, I had to turn it off, but I will comeback to it in one day. It is such a good game, even today.

You ever shop at CEX? I got Hexen on the saturn the other day at my local, the manual actually smelt new, that's a first, it was flawless. I hate shopping online due to the lack of combined postage otherwise you can find better deals on there than ebay sometimes, though defeats the purpose with having to pay postage per game.

Forget the trolls. With more subs you’ll get them. For me, what I like. Your videos feel like a friend sending a video message. I struggle with health issues and during the day I’m quite lonely. So your videos always feel like a friend saying ‘listen to what I’ve been up to’ There are enough channels with reviews, promos and people shouting ‘like and subscribe’ A few creators started like you and now they post tiers, sponsored videos and something personal is lost in all that as they make videos for views rather than what they are interested in. Keep up the great work. Your vids along with a few others are great for my mental health. I always check KZbin and smile when I see a new video ‘oh Kev is going to tell me what he’s been up to’ and your collection is real, not wallpaper like some KZbinrs who never play them.

8:44 but did you check the continuity on the wires? I fixed few pads for Nintendo Wii, and they all had the same issue - broken wires inside the insulation, close to the plug. also please check if you have 3.3v between first and third wire on the socked (second pin is a data)

As a electronics engineer the first thing was to test continuity on the cable and it's ok I googled it through its serial number and it's possibly region locked

​@@accessarea6​ before I wrote about continuity, I've checked few forums about pad region and all guys were saying that there is no region code for controllers. BUT you have a special one, for production, so maybe it is locked, not because of region code, but for any n64 which is for final-customers. Maybe those special buttons are somekind of cheating so only produciton companies knows how to turn it on or had special n64 consoles. or... maybe your n64 console has an issue with controllers input. You don't know that much about its history.

@@Radek__ I've tried the controller on 2 consoles and it doesn't work, but what is interesting is that you mentioned the title screen of mario kart being different and I've looked on YT and it is different but I don't know why, the cart is genuine but the box is repro, the cart has a number 31 pressed stamped on the back

Those dreams aren't a side effect of medication, I also dream like that and I'm not on anything. Full colour, faces, like movies, I can occassionally visit and explore a "dream world" which seems to be based on my hometown, but much larger and with elements of other places and things that have influenced it. When I realise it's one of those "world" dreams I'll try and explore a part I've not explored yet. I'd love to map it out, but it would be beyond my artistic ability.

8:04 I'm very surprised about that title logo. I remember very well Mario Kart64. And on the main theme logo should be blue sky, green trees and asphalt road. Even on Nintendo64 emulator on PC, there is the same logo theme as I described, but you have something different - like a desert. Is anyone here, to know why is the reason of it? Never was a big fan of the UK N64 boxes for the games. I find the Aussie and the US boxes have much more vibrant and colourful art. UK have the ugly black borders around a small picture.

No its not the controller port ,in the controller there's a low voltage capacitor that's reading badly on it's ESR so that's probably what the fault is
