Pelastaja-kappale syntyi vuosia myöhemmin osittain tämän tapauksen inspiroimana. Tykkiä puhutteli kohta, jossa Jeesus rukoilee Getsemanessa tuskissaan ennen vangitsemistaan ja kuolemaansa. Laulun sanoitus on Jeesuksen puhetta Jumalalle. Tykki kirjoitti tekstin vuokraamassaan mummonmökissä Lopella. Hän kävi kirkonkylällä ostamassa Raamatun lähteeksi. - Mietin silloin, että voiko tällaisesta aiheesta, Jeesuksesta, kirjoittaa pop-kappaletta. Thank you for those words Nigel. This is the first Christmas that I have felt totally empty because it's commercialised, crass and feels lonely....but I also look back at Christmas' when I was a child and they were filled with family love and nativity, the birth of Jesus, the star of Bethlehem...I used to look up into the starry, ink-blue sky at night with wonderment. All that has faded now and I believe it has faded for many people. I'm not surprised that there are so many su-ici-des, and drug and alcohol-related self deletions. It's easy to lose one's way xx

I totally agree. Being brought up as a working class girl who’s father had a drink problem I have moved myself up the ladder and now belong to the upper middle class group, and I’m the happiest person I know, because I’ve experienced hardship. I’m thankful every day, and often wonder, why me!

Yes youngsters know more than we give them credit for. A lot more are coming to the realisation that something much bigger exists outside of themselves and comes from within themselves as divine human beings this is where they can shine their own light - by following the true light. I have been there - didn't believe, but after many internal and even external battles, I came to the realisation the only one hurting was me as I found so much more by embracing Jesus - now I try to improve myself, even though mostly I fail.

What I like about Christmas is that it is a true holiday celebrating the appearance of Christ, rather than the heathen holiday it is supplanting, it's not important to know the calendar day of the birth of Christ, and Christmas is not necessarily saying that Christ was born on December 25th.
