I love my ram mounts. A huge parts catalog to allow a ton of customization. Glad to see you back again. Hope the new house is still treating you nicely.

Great video! I’ve had the same concerns too as I am also an electrician in manufacturing, and I’m constantly drilling holes and accumulating tiny metal shavings and dust.

I love it for the motorcycle but definitely find a way to keep your charge port covered. Thanks for watching

I’ve heard good things about the Rokform. I’ve been using QuadLock for a while now. Some great ideas that you presented!

It’s definitely a great product. I never worry about my phone while I’m riding. I’m planning on doing a video this week to say where I have been working for the last year. Thanks for watching and commenting Brother.

Holy cow never would have thought about metal shavings into the charge port. I think that’s a solid idea, like a little trap door.

No Problem. Its a problem I have to stay aware of every day at work. Its to the point I may switch covers when I am not riding

Hey Carl, check out the Ram Quick-Grip. Much better than their X-Grip. You can build your own setup!

Damn! I never thought about the magnet on the back bringing metal fragments in the charging port… it might not be a god idea to get.

Hey Carl how strong is the magnet? Will it stay on during highway speeds

It locks in the clip and has super magnets in both pieces that end up locking together my phone is not going anywhere im 100% confident in my mount.

I've had metal shaving material in my Rokform magnets for so long it's starting turning rust colors 😂

I just use a magnetic charge cable so the adapter stays in my phone and blocks anything from getting into it and then when I need to charge my phone I just pull out the cable and it connects via a magnet
