heard some good things on the Rokform. I was lucky enough to get given a Quadlock and So happy with it

I've herd of these mount's and how well they work. Stopping at a light and checking my phone is not the most affective way of travel for myself. Great vid sir!

I have been happy with this brand so far. The only thing I might change is adding some thread lock or something to that adjustment screw. The way it is sitting right now I am wondering if the weight of my phone and vibrations will cause it to come loose. We'll see when I can get out riding again. Most times my phone sits in the saddlebag. I get a lot of messages from work somedays and that makes it easier to ignore. Haha Thanks for watching!

Appreciate the vid bud. Did you have any issues with it on throttle side? I have seen most mounted clutch side which logistically doesn’t make sense to me. I agree on throttle side btw
@NVARider2 жыл бұрын
The only thing that has me worried on the throttle side is it spinning loose. I have it pretty tight with some thread lock. No issues yet. To me it makes more sense on that side because of where the USB wire is. Thank you for watching! 🤘🏻

Nice video sir do you experience with ram mounts and if so would recommend the Rockform over it?
@NVARider2 жыл бұрын
I have not used a ram mount for my phone before. So far I have been happy with the Rokform. Holds the phone tight. I would say my only complaint is with the magnet in the phone case. It tends to pick up metal shavings from where i work.

Great install!!! I have been looking at phone mounts and not sure if I want one. But like you I have 1 1/2” bars. Just looked at that mount though…that doesn’t come with a phone case???
@NVARider2 жыл бұрын
It does not come with the case unfortunately. I go back and forth with putting my phone on my bars. It does just fine in the saddlebag and is not a distraction there. But I prefer Google maps over most GPS. That was the main reason for it.

You know, who would have thought that it's a tough decision to make when it comes to phone holders. I had a RAM Mount that I used for almost 3 years, until my phone fell out while on a ride, luckily I was able to stop it by holding it against my tank and put it back on, all while in motion, with one hand, (video to follow). I went with the Ciro3D, so let's see how this one goes. Go review. Stay warm
@NVARider2 жыл бұрын
I looked at the Ciro ones but figured since I already had the case I would stick with what I had. We'll see how it goes when I can get out riding again. Thanks for watching!

Does this have the vibration dampener? If not you may want tho look into it so you don't ruin your camera

This one does not. Is it an issue with all phones? I've only read about the problems with iPhones.

So it doesn’t matter what side you put it on? I put mine on my clutch lever but found that it wasn’t long enough to put on the rubber piece. Is the front brake lever side long enough for the rubber piece?
@NVARider Жыл бұрын
This one doesn't have a rubber piece on it. It will work on either side. I put it on the right side because that is the compartment the USB connection is in.
@richpuller13482 жыл бұрын
