Doing it for the wrong reasons is doing it for profit. He's trying to get free parts because he can't afford to fund the content himself. He literally can't do it if he doesn't get sponsored parts would be my guess.

The whole reason I started the channel was to document my Evo swap on the Eclipse. No free parts, no money given to fund. Just passion. Getting “free” parts is the result of hard work over the years and the 650+ videos that were uploaded with countless hours of effort. Doing a KZbin channel for the wrong reasons implies someone assuming “free” without providing some sort of value or ROI for the person or business. Learn to pick and choose creators that want to help you, not just mooch because they have X amount of followers. Also remember “free” doesn’t always imply free. Lots of work goes behind a sponsorship
