Chucky is only like knee high. He just looks taller because in the older movies they used a kid in a Chucky outfit for some of the running scenes.

Child’s Play 2, Child’s Play 3, & Cult are my favorite chucky movies. Growing up it was Seed, but I rewatched Seed when I was like 15 and I cringed so much and was like “how was this my favorite?”😂 Aside from the movies, I love the TV show. And love it more than the movies. I feel like I could beat Chucky from CP2, but have the most struggle with the Chucky’s from Cult, just because there’s more than 1. And even though I’m way taller, we’ve seen what chucky can do to adults, so I feel like I would lose😂 well I might be able to beat the chucky with the very bad haircut from Cult, but I don’t think I’ll be the other Chucky’s😂👏🏽 Edit: I know y’all haven’t seen the other Wrong Turn movies yet, but after you finish them all, my question is “Which Wrong Turn movie do you think y’all could survive in?” Growing up, I thought I could survive the 4th movie, and the fourth movie is my favorite. I’m not gonna give reasons because I’d be spoiling it. But when I was 9 years old, I always wanted to be in the friend group and be the characters friend from the 4th movie haha 😂 I’m weak asf ngl, but I still think I could survive WT4🤷🏽‍♀️ and another question for the WT movies is “Name your favorite character from each movie”. My Chucky rank - 1. Child’s Play (original story stand on its own. Ending would be more scarier if they didn’t make it out of franchise after.) 2. Child’s Play 2 (fun sequel in a way) 3. Bride of Chucky (love Chucky’s new look and Tiffany) 4. Child’s Play 3 (Awesome Chucky’s death scene) 5. Curse of Chucky (went back to it’s roots and kept the story simple) 6. Seed of Chucky (Glen/Glenda/Sh*tface stole this movie, carry it) 7. Child’s Play 2019 (This Chucky is ugly and cringe looking but I dig the concept and the menace death scenes and trying to ruin Andy’s life) 8. Chucky tv series 9. Cult of Chucky (didn’t dig with dream sequences and cringe at multiple Chuckys. Left me scratching my head at the end. Tbh)

My favorite Chucky is the one in bride of Chucky I feel like you really see Chucky personality to the max and added in Tiffany created a different dynamic that explore Chucky character even further. Bride of Chucky to me is the last movie that Chucky character reach new heights that you didn't expect or predict after the bride of Chucky movie, I'm not gone say Chucky character Is stale but it was constant ( I'm not including child's play 2019 I hate that movie a waste of mark Hamill ability like seriously a guy that plays the joker you gone have that actor do a generic robot personality) I'm the type of guy if ain't broke don't fix it cause a lot of times when you do fix it, it's in a worst state than it originally was but I'm rambling now so I'm gone go head and end it.

First I want to make It clear I only like the first 3 movies. Because they had solid continuity the Voodoo ritual which was the key point of the movie. Was constant and never changed in the 4th one all that went out the window and I stopped caring. Because like Drew said it started to go all over the place an there was no constant rules. Anymore now out of the first 3 I say 3 is my favorite sequel. Because Chucky showed next level thinking like you pointed out he changed the ammo out for live ammo. Now I think you are confused about Child's Play 2019. That was a reboot not a remake there are rules for them that make them different. Like how a movie to be a sequel it has to follow all of the facts that came from the previous movie. With out changing or altering them in any way shape or form. Prequels have to still follow the basic rule only add to it. Never subtract from it now when it comes to a remake. A remake by basic definition a remake is a retelling of or a reproduction of. Something with small changes but it is the same story or item. Child's Play 2019 tells a different story one about the electronic toy gone wrong. Not one about a doll that is possessed by a killer. A reboot can keep the same name as the original. But it can change and alter anything that it wants. Because it's a new version of that story. Child's Play 2019 is a reboot because it is a new version of original movie. Instead of Chucky being a possessed doll by a serial killer. They made Chucky into a electronic toy gone wrong so it was a entirely new story. They did that because they had no choice because the movie studio lost the rights to Charles Lee Ray and his backstory. So the movie studio had to reboot the entire backstory. So Child's Play 2019 is a reboot not a remake. You need to remember the difference between a remake and a reboot. Because there is a huge difference between them. Especially since Hollywood has failed to remember this. Prime case in point Black Christmas 1974 I'm not going to spoil anything has a very specific storyline and plot. Black Christmas 1974 only has one remake that is black Xmas 2006. Because it has the exact same story line and plot as Black Christmas 1974. It's just set in a more modern time basically they have cell phones. In black Xmas 2006 other than that it's the same storyline and plot as black Christmas 1974. So by Definition of a remake being it is a retelling of the original story. Black Xmas 2006 it's a remake of black Christmas 1974. There is a black Christmas made in 2019. It is called a remake but it has a completely different story altogether. Literally and figuratively has nothing in common with black Christmas 1974. It only has the name black Christmas in common. I mean it literally and figuratively has nothing in common with black Christmas 1974. They literally and figuratively made a separate movie then Called It Black Christmas. Then called it a remake to trick people into watching their movie. So since black Christmas 2019 has a entirely brand new story. That has nothing in common with black Christmas 1974s story. In any way shape or form it is a reboot and a horrible one at that. I mean every single person I see online talk about it and review it or react to it. Even watching the official trailer on KZbin shows black Christmas 2019 is a separate movie. That shows that it has nothing in common with black Christmas 1974. Other then the name black Christmas calling black Christmas 2019 a remake of black Christmas 1974. Would be like calling a apple a snail and saying it's the same thing.

No problem because from what I seen from the movies that you posted your reactions to. You really haven't gotten into remakes and reboots. Child's Play 2019 being your first reboot wich means to restart everything from the beginning. Ignoring all the movies that came before it. A remake basically retails original story of the original movie. Meaning everything's the same story wise but in a updated manner. But if you continue down Friday the 13th route you will watch the reboot one. Then A Nightmare on Elm Street after Freddy versus Jason has a remake. Meaning Friday the 13th reboot tried to start it all over from scratch. The Nightmare on Elm Street remake keeps the same core story as original movie. But they trying to avoid spoilers changes non-core story things. Basically Freddy Krueger is still a dream demon killer. Similar characters and things but different backgrounds. Because there is two kinds of reboots so to speak. A full on reboot that completely ignores everything that came before it. Like Child's Play 2019 completely startd over from the beginning. Then what some people call a soft reboot. Meaning it keeps most of the stuff intact but changes some things. The best example I can think of would be Friday the 13th part 2. Because the original movie stayed at Jason drown to death in 1957. But when the movie studio retconed Jason death in part 2 they basically make a soft reboot. Because they changed it so he didn't die but they still kept the rest of the facts of the first movie intact. So they made a parcel reboot movie thats what a soft reboot is. But Friday the 13th 2009 is a full on reboot. Hollywood is also confused with remake and reboot. Thats why I brught up Black Christmas 1974. Because in 2019 they made a movie called it Black Christmas they are calling. It a remake of the original black Christmas 1974 movie But it's story and everything in the movie. Literally and figuratively has nothing in common with black Christmas 1974. In any shape or form or way the only thing they have in common is the movies name Black Christmas. No characters even have any names similar to people from the original movie. The storyline an plot is completely different from the original movie Black Christmas 1974. Story line an plot so the people that made the movie and the movie studio behind it. Are openly lying to people about what the movie is people going into black Christmas 2019. Thinking it's going to be the same story as black Christmas 1974. Then see a completely whole new movie that has nothing in common with it. But the ones that made made it are fine with calling it a remake. So they can trick people into watching there movie. They are basically pulling a bait and switch with black Christmas 2019 by calling it a remake. I mean seriously calling it a remake is the same thing as calling a apple and a snail the same thing. Let me put it this way it's like calling A Nightmare on Elm Street a remake of Friday the 13th. Thats how different black Christmas 1974 is from Black Christmas 2019.

Lie to you about that stuff now so you by that I mean. The people watching the movie have to know the difference between a reboot and a remake.
