Some points about Thora Sa Haq (I cant believe I am watching this. I blame Amna and Hassan and their entertains and funny review for this). 1. Why does Zamin wait until the last possible minute, in front of all the wedding guests, to tell the person he is marrying, that he is already married? He lives in the same house with this person. If he has such an active conscience, why didn’t it bother him till this particular moment. 2. Why is Ayeza Khan slapped all the time by everyone? 3. Why doesn’t anyone slap Zamin? His mother, his uncle, his aunt, his new wife, Ayeza Khan? Anyone? 4. Why is she not allowed to leave the house and go elsewhere? Zamin can take care of her by setting her up in an apartment of her own, with a friend’s family as a paying guest or even send her to a Hyderabad to the interfering neighbor aunty and offer to pay for her food and shelter. 5. Ayeza Khan is presumably educated. Why can’t she enroll in an educational institution? Why doesn’t she try and become self sufficient and pursue a profession instead of washing dishes and making breakfast? 6. Why do we portray young women as helpless creatures, with no agency - except to get beaten up by one and all, endure any and every humiliation and still say that it is all their fault, they are very sorry?

@@hiraimran2848 Your comment is problematic. Victims of abuse most of the time do not get out of toxic relationships. It's not only true for marriages but all relationships. To blame those victims for the abuse by saying 'why didn't you get out?' and expecting them to act like rational people when they're mentally and psychologically scarred in many ways, is called victim shaming. Maybe you didn't mean to do it but blaming the victim for not taking a stand is the worst form of victim shaming. I don't like the drama so I don't watch it. You can do the same but please refrain from victim shaming because we as a society, don't even realize when we're shaming victims.

Aamna Here I’m not blaming her at all! We need to see more positive, strong female characters in our dramas who are able to stand up for themselves.. this will in turn educate the public by proving a role model of sorts. We r tired of seeing these pitiful female characters in our dramas!
@bosedeoluwayomi5 жыл бұрын
@@hiraimran2848 I totally understand your point of view. I don't know how the drama will end but I hope Seher's character develops to a point where she will no longer allow herself to be abused for what she did not do or have control over. We should also remember that dramas are not just for entertainment but also to educate us. There are many people out there going through similar problems and there are several recurring issues and themes in the drama, such as anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, narcissim, courage, loyalty, women empowerment as well as women hurting other women. Seher should have left or asked for a divorce the moment she realised Hareem was Zamin's fiancé and when she was being treated less than a human being but as much as this is frustrating, I am willing to wait and see where all this will end.

I think in the first scene of Yeh Dil Mera, Amaan wanted Aina to be slightly intimidated by him and his bold act of locking the door behind himself. He thinks it is healthy for his significant other to be slightly afraid of him. That's why he asks, "Aren't you afraid being alone with me like this? Not even a bit?" He might have added, "What if I'm the bad guy? Why do you trust me so much?" On multiple occasions he has dismissed her questions about his background and he likes keeping his mystery. He uses that to his advantage in the relationship. When Aina confronted him on the voice call, about that restaurant episode saying, "You got up and left acting like I don't even know you", Amaan responded, "That's just it. What do you even know about me?" In the bedroom, Aina put a dent in his pride by laughing out loud cutting the tense atmosphere Amaan was trying to build. She said she felt supremely secure and safe around him. Amaan did not like that. He stormed out of the room, rubbed his temples and wished he could say that to somebody, the fact that he felt safe and cared for, as Aina's words kept echoing in his head. This set the tone for the rest of the episode. He drove carelessly when dropping Aina off in another failed attempt to scare Aina out of her skin and did not even wave her goodbye or turn his head while she complained she won't ever see him again. Amaan decided he wanted to cease being Aina's saviour and would spend twenty days giving himself a much needed break in London. He would not even tell Aina and see how Aina responds to that. When Aina brought Amaan's London trip up at the breakup table, observe how he said, "You were worried about me when you should actually have been upset." In Islamabad he had childhood flashbacks and spent much of his time in solitude and the rest of his time at the orphanage trying to shower love where it was needed most.
@sallu4385 жыл бұрын
I feel Amaan wanted to hurt Aina somehow, or at least scare her in his room, but when he found out that she's not scared and she trusts him, he just flipped and went out, struggled with his demons and failed to compose himself and took Aina home. And he wants to save her from himself and that's why he breaks the engagement. Nonetheless, his performance was sterling.. Just amazing...

YDM is the best show I have seen in a while. Gripping story, twisted writing and superrrb performances!! Your review was great but I don't agree with the Aina being naive part. Yes, Amaan is distraught but We know that as a viewer with his changing expressions and background score, Aina does not. She knows him only to the extent he shows himself to her. Up until now I don't think Amaan has let himself that open in front of Aina, except for the last scene of the latest episode(which was freaking outstandingg). Speaking of the times he had behaved any weirdly with her, she also had given perplexed reactions. In their initial meetings, she stated ki aap muje samaj nahi aate, more than once, like in her interview. In the middle after their engagement, when he shouted on call while being vulnerable on that piano, she was equally perplexed on his behaviour the next day on their call, but he covered up skillfully. After the locket instance when he was rude, when he called her to apologise, she was curious to know hua kya tha, he covers up by 'tum muje apna ladla Bana lo' (awee). And in the latest episode also, when he abruptly drops her back home in the speedy car ride, she says Mai tum se kabhi nahi milugi, seemingly confused and angry. Also, we have to give her a benefit of doubt anyway, with all her protected upbringing. Not to forget that she is head over heels in love with him so her love doesn't make her see any of his sinister expressions, if at all he makes any in front of her. So i feel how the characters are reacting is justified at this point in the story. Waiting for their transformations when the mystery unravels.

I've been saying this for years now. The problem with Pakistani dramas that nobody wants to acknowledge is that we no longer have great writers. We've replaced professional writers with digest writers. When Anwar Maqsood, Fatima Surraiya Bajya and Hasina Moin used to write dramas, they were progressive and much ahead of their times. PTV had a policy that you couldn't depict violence against women. Now we have Umera Ahmeds and Frahat Ishtiaqs who are not just regressive and archaic (believe me I used to read them and their misogyny is nauseating) but has caused massive dearth of creativity in Pakistani drama. If we want to make good dramas we need to support young, progressive writers. We need to stop passing fatwas of morality on everything we don't like. Private channels need to have the same standards that PTV used to have. PTV was not just a channel, it was a training camp of sorts for young actors. Our young generation whose hooked on these digests need to pick up and read good Urdu literature. I've read these digests and they have some of the most regressive, bizarre and misogynistic stuff in it. Heroes are shown kidnapping women who don't want to get married to them but they are never condemned for it, women are kidnapped for the actions of their mothers, sisters and brothers and forcibly married. Young women are told that having even pure friendship with a colleague is akin to being a slut. A woman who doesn't want to get married must be too arrogant and anyone who wear a t shirt and jeans has loose morals. This whole 'asghari akbari' paradigm was introduced in Pakistani dramas by female digest writers and unless we condemn them, we'll not see progressive and empowering female roles any time soon.

Wow. That's the most realistic theory. So far it seems to add up. And Aina has no known relatives on her paternal side, so this must be it. Now Amaan and Aina are separated not that being cousins would be an obstacle in the marriage. The OST clips of their exploring their pasts make sense as Amaan and Aina don't need to be romantically related. They could find a new relationship of blood and then Amaan wouldn't ask her to go very far away from him as she is relevant for his purpose. Bits of their common past could be uncovered from Aina's memory to put the puzzle together. We already know the two met in childhood. Amaan knows of Aina's chin and drew her sketch in the first episode.

I think you people are confusing Amaan's grandfather with his uncle in your review. The uncle is Amaan's father's half-brother. That's why after Amaan's parents expired, Amaan's uncle had to take his nephew in as a burden. The uncle probably did not like commitment and responsibility or any sign of his half-brother in the shape of an orphaned Amaan. He alluded to that to his girlfriend and the younger Amaan. Plus, he missed no opportunity to "discipline" Amaan. Amaan's grandfather married a foreigner as his second wife. The union resulted in the birth of Amaan's uncle. The foreign lady owned the oil refineries and was distantly linked to the British royal family. In the meantime, Amaan's grandmother (his father's mother) concealed her husband's double marriage to keep his respect intact. Amaan's uncle inherited the oil refinery from his mother and possibly his two-timing behaviour from his father (assuming in the clips the uncle is already married to Amaan's aunt who lives elsewhere). Then of course Amaan takes over the family business after the passing of his uncle and expands it from London to Islamabad.

Metal health patients lack self care Amaan wearing the same green shirt that he wore on the date where he saw Mir Farooq‘s picture in Aina‘s locket shows his mental state. He has not moved on from the shock. #yehdilmera

No, I think you stop reviewing Ghalti and kahin deep jale until & unless some attractive twist came up .. and if soo than please skip ruswai too.. mujhe esa lgat hai ruswai muneeb butt wale drame ki tarhan hai jisme pora fazol ka drama guzarne k bad end k episode me ushna shah ko insaf milta hai .. like whaaatt 😂😂😂 hum ye dekhne ni ate k tourcher kese krna hai.. 😕 On the other hand ye dil mera review was cute tho.. amna ap sahad ki biggest fan hain.. 😂 Jese me Something HAUTE k review ka wait krti hn ap wese hi ye dil mera ko start krne ka wait krti hain 21:06 😂😂😂😍😍 Love you both and hassan the way you act warda 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and that oxford street shirt wala part .. wah wah 😂 mere khayal se ahad k fans ahad ko ye bhi maaf krdenge 😂💓😍

Why don’t you start reviewing Deewangi instead of Kahin Deep Jaley.
@64bitnoob65 жыл бұрын
Dewangi drama story hasn't built yet to talk about it, and kahin deep jalay me tw brothers stupid hai lrky ki financial condition shadi se pehle discuss krna chahye tha but shadi k bd bt kr k un k relationship me interfere kr k unka relationship kharab kren gy.

Mera dil itna kharab hua tha after watching this week's episode of Thora Sa Haq and the following teaser. Zamin even has the audacity to stand before the woman he's betrayed, lied to and made miserable and tell her he will divorce her just because she can't accept his other wife who she thinks he doesn't love. And Seher needs to stop her "Ye sab meri waja se hua hai. Mein yahan say chali jati hoon" and making everything about herself and her victimhood without really solving anything when she knows Zamin won't let her leave. Yes she has suffered but now Hareem is suffering just as much. If she had any decency she would have sent Zamin a khula notice knowing his relationship with Hareem and Zamin could've found someone decent for her to marry. She even refuses to get a divorce from him after his mother tells her to saying she will leave but she won't divorce him. Like where's her compassion for Hareem? She only sympathizes with her to a small extent but doesn't have enough compassion to understand how painful it is for her to be betrayed by someone she's known and loved her whole life - if she did have that compassion she would've agreed to the divorce. I have a feeling Zamin and Seher are going to be my least favourite leading couple.

One thing I noticed k jb se MPTH ki pink nighty wali episode hui ha..Usk bad se ap log hr drame me esa angle dhond lete hain...aur kafi lmba lmba kr k jb is trha k scenes pe baat krte hain to kafi time consume hta ha...Yeah it's fun...baat zror kren ese scenes pe par unpe ziada time na lgaya kren...is trha drame ka bqi ka analysis short ho jta ha...
