Its commendable how Amna remembered Hamza's performance from BRKRJ because i feel the show wasnt popular enough and his performance was underrated. But what a performance. From portraying the carefree Karachi boy to falling in love and dealing with anger issues, workplace troubles, the insecurities his father led him to and then Farhaad's breakdown and regret when he passed away. Definitely one of my favourite performances of 2024.

It will always be Zard Patton ka Bann for me. The theme, the scenery, the background score, the original songs, the performances, everything was so top notch. All the characters are well written and none are there just to fill up space. Above all, it is comforting to watch inspite of all the realism it projects. It leaves you with hope with every episode. Standup girl is a close second along with Khaie.

So as critiques, Hassan a person of data/research and ofc you both having a solid background in journalism, such reviews would be nicer if they were just a little more structured in terms of deciding categories (popular/personal fav/critique), having the list of answers prepared beforehand and then you both having a discussion on why's of the choice. Delivers more clarity and coherence. Also defining a proper criteria beforehand on the terms of judgement like diff between Actor/Star which is distinguished as Absolute dynamc skill vs Presence/Aura, Good vs Great actor. I completely agree with Amina. How can someone be considered the best actor when they keep playing the same repetitive characters? For example, the same role Sohail Hamza is playing in ZPKB-can Danish Taimoor do it? I can't even imagine it because of his clear-cut beard and layers of makeup with the same expression. Sorry, he doesn't belong in the top 5. On the other hand, the dual character Bilal Abbas played in Ishq Murshid was brilliant and showcased his talent. Actors like Nauman Ijaz and Sohail Ahmed are real actors who don't rely on vanity to play their roles.

I completely agree with aamnas views in this review. totally on every point! danish isnt a good actor, he is just in a comfort zone majorly based on his looks and screen presence which is strong. but he cant be compared to bilal or hamza (both) or noman ejaz or ahmed. when it comes to hiba, she needs to work a lot on herself. im not 100% convinced that she is a good actor cause she doesnt take up tough roles like aamna said comparing to iqra. sehar is a good rising star and has a lot more potential which is why she is above hiba in my list. my list bilal hamza sohail (in both dramas) hamza sheryar

For me best dramas are Zard Patton Ka Bunn, Gentleman, Radd, Khaie, Jaffa. I have not had a chance to watch Standup Girl or Jaan-e-Jahan yet and Ishq Murshid, I watched 8 episodes but could not get into it. Best actors: Mohib Mirza, Hamza Sohail, Nauman Ijaz, Sheheryar Munawar, Humayun Saeed Best actresses: Yumna Zaidi, Sajal Ali, Dur-e-Fishan, Hiba Bukhari, Saba Qamar

So the drama which were picked are all totally diff in genera, Radd , standup girl , Jane Jahan , IShq murshid are all for masses while dramas like Khaie , ZPKB is not for every one some dramas r like critically on top and some r just for entertainment purposes .

Oh please, dur e fishan acting was not at par in khaie, at that point an actress like sarah khan was needed but she didn't play negative role in khaie as well as many other actors would do
