Guys you don't appreciate Zahid Ahmed enough. He is at par with the rest of the leads in Gentleman. At this point his character arc and narrative is the center plot and the most intriguing. Zahid has played it brilliantly. And then in JSPJ as well he has played his character with so much nuance. Please don't forget to give him his due credit in the upcoming reviews.

The reason why Munna and Rehmati like her is because she is not afraid of them. Men respect strength! They have a pack mentality and look up to strength. Zarnab is a perfect combination of beauty and strength they see a beautiful woman with courage and thats powerful and Rehmati is in love with the power she projects. Munna is in love with her integrity, her principles, her values somewhere Munna has the same values he wants to stand for the oppressed but he is going in a wrong direction my take is he is looking at her as his hero who will take him away from this situation. Faris is attracted to her honesty, her principles and her courage to stand for those values. He wants that because he does not have that value system. In other words Rehmati is looking for a power couple who will complete him. Munna sees her as his hero and hero worships her. Faris is insecure and greedy and she is the opposite he wants what he does not have.

These days we are lucky to see 3 very well written and well portrayed characters of empowered girls, Meenu, Zarnab, and Emaan. All are honest, dedicated; the girls with principles. Common with all three are supportive fathers, the main reason behind their confidence. Loving and enjoying all three. Meenu the simple jugaar girl , is a darling, I feel like hugging her. Zarnab , very strong and mature. Emaan is very caring. Such inspiring female protagonists are what we need to show in our dramas.

Sajal is just too freakin adorable and Hamza is such a refined polished actor ❤ he is a natural in such roles and shines as a true Hero in drama like BRKRJ (even though I stopped watching) 😅 Gentleman finally getting more exciting and oh man those dialogues are just amazing! About Sajal's accent in ZPKB - It would have bothered me if we saw her use village accent in some scenes and then her real accent came out in some. Like some dramas show actors use strong village accent or dialect in first episodes and then slowly you see the accent fade - that is a problem. Sajal has been consistent with her normal accent since the beginning. Even the other actors are not using any village accent. So when you see that happen in a drama where director and writer has paid attention to the smallest of things - that makes the accent seem an intentional decision by the makers.

I think for Faris : Zarnab become his stubborn and also a challenge for him that he wants to win zarban. He don’t want to loss zarnab at any cost. Episode 8 of Gentleman was the first episode that totally enthralled me. Faris, Zarnab conversation, Zarnab’s father telling him, “ biwion ne pochana chour dia hae ke ye paisa aa kahna se raha hae”. “ Meray mulk ki barbadi ke peechay aysi kamayon ka haath hae”. Very forceful scenes , so was Mifra’s words to Faris. Another experience was when two scenes, father telling Zarnab about Rehmati, and Munna telling Rehmati about Zaryab were shown simultaneously, cutting into each other. Yumna’s expressions on knowing were brilliant. Suspense was created which turned it into a thriller, and I am completely hooked. Munna, Rehmati war has begun, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Oh thank you someone else noticed it too. I thought I was the only one. 💯 that is the issue with Hiba, though she is a good actor but cannot do romance on screen. She pairs well with Danish because Danish is capable of creating love and romance, not many other male actors can do that if the female lead opposite them is not able to reciprocate at the same level. Acting is give and take, which is required for all scenes.

My perspective about the title Faris: For Faris,Mifra and Zarnab both are beautiful. Lekin Mifra ka jo power hai,wo khud ki nehi hai.She is bold but she is not in a powerful position. She is just a bridge for Faris. But Zarnab is beautiful,talented,intellectual and a very good journalist with poweroful voice! Zarnab ghar ki bahu bhi lagti hai,aur high profile party mein sath jane wali perfect beautiful wife bhi lagti hai. While Mifra is just the second one. Rehmati: Rehmati ek gunda hai lekin thora sweetu bhi hai. So he like Zarnab for her beauty first. Then,jab koi dusro pe hukum chalane wala powerful banda(gunda) ek aisi aurat ko dekhte hai jiski awaz mein dam hai,jo muphat hai,khubsurat bhi hai,educated hai. Use wo chiz attract karti hai. Munna ka to patahi hai kiu. Now the question is sab kill and die situation k liye kiu taiyar hai! In a sense all this three man has a common point. I would like to give my opinion regarding Hasan ‘s question. Zarnab is bold & beautiful & righteous plus a celebrity as she is a tV host with a moral compass . No doubt , she is desirable for everyone . In case of Munna , he was just awe struck at first sight . Plus he felt bad that he was not a likeable person because of his profession. So his reasons are quite obvious. For Faris ; he is her cousin & fiancé . Apart from affection or attraction, there is a sense of possession . Moreover as Zarnab is a tv host , so if their engagement gets off, there would be some gossip & bad talk . Moreover knowing zarnab’s outspoken attitude, she might speak out loud about the reasons . Faris is a liar & very calculative . So his intentions in my opinion are practical not emotional or lovey duvy. Rehmati ‘s reasons in my opinion is about power exercising . Every time he says, “Khalil Sahib”, I cringe. He doesn’t deserve that respect; it’s what he feeds off of. I’d replace his name with another ‘k’ word that I won’t say here. Hopefully this was recorded before his latest man-child melt down….and hopefully it will be addressed in the next Haute Bytes with no holds barred. When will people in the industry stop enabling his misogyny and deep nafrat towards women. I’d love to dive into his childhood to understand what his mama issues are. Actors of ZPKB were strictly restricted to impersonate any accent...stated by Mubashir( Roshan) in one of his iv and the story is so interesting I totally forgot the accent n the little or bare makeup which sajal was having since last 3-4 episodes I didn't see that.she comes naturally...and I agree the classroom scene in this episodes still many believe in rumors n gossips then the character n abilities of ones..being a victim of this malpractice 😢

Why is Hassan's answer to what he finds stylish in a woman a big problem?? I think he gave a very good answer. Just because his answer was decent doesn't mean we have to put him down like Aamna is doing. If Hassan would've said something that would objectify woman like curvy n all that would also be just wrong. I mean after all these years of being a voice for women's rights through something haute he just can't say otherwise. So , no Hassan you were very good with your answer and Aamna please understand that.

ZPKB: What an amazing story that has everything in it. Every episode has one or more scenes that I keep watching on repeat until the next episode airs. This week, I laughed out loud at the "Baarish ki dua pe shukriya" banner. Another favorite scene was Meenu and Roshan singing on the bicycle. Beautiful writing, I must say, and it's so refreshing to see the bond between these two. Despite the Compounder conspiring against Dr. Nofel, I still like that character. How he gives a helmet to Meenu with a subtle social message is commendable.
