Triple H winning sucked the air out of the building. Luckily at Backlash the folllowing month they corrected this and had Rock win. Austin coming back to help was awesome too. Backlash 2000 should have been booked as Wrestlemania.

Mixk Foley has said on his podcast Foley is Pod and Conrad you should have known this because you co-host it, that he initially tried to get out of the main event of WM 16. It took a lot of convincing for him to do it....wasn't a matter of "breaking the news" to Foley and he jumped on it like you make it sound
