yes, she can hit those notes... she only needs to develop her own character/make a name of her own so that she won't be compared to other singers, especially the Asia's Songbird RVA who doesn't deserve to be compared to anyone. they have different generations. morisette can belt all those high notes which can amaze a lot of people but not all artists who truly understand music. what she needs to do for her to impress everyone is to have her own music embrace her, not her embracing the music.

If I am not mistaken, as per Mr.Ryan Cayabyab he wrote this song for her Wife. One of such very passionate and beautiful song ever written by Mr.C! Where please has Morissette ever slayed any Regine's version. Not without reason did Morissette included whistles in her repertoire. The only thing Regine never did. But whistles are not part of the vocal range of a singer. Morissette has a beautiful voice, but NONE, which corresponds to the outstanding one of Regine in HighRes. Comparing vocals you always need to consider the quality of the recording published on KZbin. Listening to Regine in studio quality, it will always sound dramatically better than on KZbin. Unfortunately, Morissettes does not have any comparable studio quality discography yet. The few available songs on Tidal or Quobuz are not really impressing. So I would say, we wait till she has issued a real comparable recording.
