Great tips. Regarding you new snap ring pliers….. I’ve tried many new pliers over the years and they all are crap. I haven’t tried the new Irwin’s you bought. Do they work better?

Yes, if you drill some additional holes and grind some material to finish. Perhaps some additional heat treatment. Just not practical. (Instead of a $1 part you would have a $400 part). Good question Gary.
