This song was written by Chuck Girard during the Jesus Movement in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He was part of the band Love Song and they first sang it at Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. They were instrumental in introducing new music (Contemporary Christian) to the church. They called it “Jesus Music”, and truly it was. They were a group of hippies that came to know the Lord thru the ministry of Chuck Smith and Lonnie Frisbee. This is very irresponsible of you both to not lift up others who are From the same family. You gave credit to some moving of the Spirit somewhere in a decade.
