They just happen to be uploading monetized videos and getting recognition with pats on their back, clicks and views from thousands of strangers which has to make the process more tolerable. Not to mention, (but I will) from then looks of their house and dad's bank account reactions they are doing better than most in this situation....

And Dan mentioned damaging the locks he is trying to put the keys into. Just telling him no, in this case, is their only answer. I think he's got more time to think as he is not at Mark's house, what distracted him while there isn't part of his days any longer. (Honestly, imo, if I had to live 50%/50% between homes, with his memory loss, to me even w/o the loss of memory, it had to be very disrupting to him. How long will the wallet checkbook and keys be at Mark's house? OR is this Grandpa's new norm, just telling him no? My children deserve to have a life with there loved ones, enjoy their grandchildren, have some freedom in there retirement years. If only there were a way to keep from getting these illnesses. Or having part or full time care that can be trusted and is affordable. I am retired and do not want to be a burden on my children. I am frustrated that there is no way to prevent this. My heart hurts for you Dan to see your Dad like this. This would crush me to see my once strong, independent dad like this. God bless you for your love and patience. ❤

It’s fantastic to see family taking care of each other in todays world!!! So many people today wouldn’t do this. It has to be mentally challenging every day to live through this!!! Bless your family!

No one can fully understand how frustrating it is living with someone with dementia when these things happen!! I’m a registered nurse and have seen many families go through this! It’s so very good that you and your brother share the burden! Because no one can understand until you walk in those shoes!!!
