When I was a kid, mum and dad and the youngest would be in the cab. The rest of us would be perched on top of a ton of wood in the back. No one told us to sit down, shut up and hang on. We just did. No seat belts. No child restraints. We knew what to do. And then there was pain. Pain is a good teacher.

i tell yall these videos take me back to when i was a kid , hearing that saw echoing thru the woods . here in East Texas , the main industry is the timber business , when i was a kid pulpwood trucks everywhere , you'd hear the old saws bellering , long before any modern equipment, the Log trucks were gas Fords & Chevys Dodges & Cornbinder Internationals . a simpler time , some of them had Log Hog tractors , some a skidder, a Tree Farmer was the first i had ever seen , But times have changed , what they do in week , they can do in a day now , or so it seems . Life is way too fast nowadays , Looks like got life by the Horns , at Yall own pace ! Keep up the Good Works Guys !! What a life , not many get to go to work as a family around here , yall all work together , i love it , nothing like Family !! Take Care !!

hey there James, well we definantly dont have life by the horns lol. We run old equipment that most wouldnt have lol. I agree times are changing so much. WHat we used to be satisfied with years ago is no longer wanted.

Hey there Ike and Con.....yep just your friendly city slicker subscriber Steven from Los Angeles here yet again just saying a quick hello if ya'll dont mind it.....Well awesome to see you both back out in the sticks and all doing what ya'll do. I hope im not repeating myself here and im not sure if you both got to read or if you were interested in reading my last two comments but just wanted to share that i ended up winning at that celebrity fishing trip i went on about two months ago i was able to land a 350lb fatty yellow fin tuna (of course wearing my ALSB hat and t-shirt for good luck) winning me a prize of $5000 which of course i donated to my most cherished local charity children's hospital of which i will be donating the same amount as i always do every Christmas in the loving memory of my late fiance and son as every year i donate my time as well to feed the homeless at my local homeless shelter for Thanksgiving and Christmas and not to forget as every year i take a additional $1000 to pay for random peoples groceries mostly veterans and the elderly as its always meaningful and i remain so blessed to be able to do so every year working hard at what i do to save up since and since i didn't have any family growing up and after losing the family that i did have after all its never about the money or the gifts its truly about how genuine you can be at heart to truly bless others with a meaningful fellowship and a long lasting friendship.....Well Ike and Con stay strong, healthy, and hard working......hope to someday be blessed to hear back from you both if the lord truly puts it in your hearts to do so and yep as always since day one never forgetting to hit that 👍 for you both.....and well the lord is always the boss boys...😉✝

I am 41 years old and grew up on my Grandpa's farm. I started raking hay when I was 6. I was running the round baler when I was 9 and pretty much a top hand by the time I was 14. I started working on engines and tractors in the shop before I was 10 and was competent rebuilding diesel tractors by the time I was 14. I started taking in public repair work when I was 15. I went to work in the shop at the John Deere and Kubota dealer that I bought parts from straight out of High School at over twice minimum wage. I have never had to work for minimum wage or hunt a job. If you wait until you get eighteen to start learning how to work and run machinery you will probably never be any good at it. The best times I ever had was running tractors as a kid, and the independence it taught me. By the time I was 15 I thought I could do anything and wouldn't scared to try anything. Mom and Dad your boys will be far better off the way you are raising them than the way society thinks you should raise them. The littlest one reminds me so much of myself when I was his age. Also I spent a lot of time with my old man working when I was growing up, if you never get to work with your old man on the same job you never have the opportunity to really understand who he is and what he has to go through in life. Ya'll keep doing what your doing I love the videos.

Goodmorning...It was sure nice to see the crew back together doing their thing in the woods this morning! Even got Ike to talk a bit...Good stuff and best of luck hunting this fall! I always find yellow jackets/ground hornets when I am brush mowing but late this summer I hit a patch and they completely lite me up!🙄 I quit counting at 20 stings when putting baking soda paste on the stings. The one nailed me on the cheek bone and I think the stinger broke off in the bone!😡 They sure have a way of ruining a otherwise perfect day...Have a great weekend and thanks again for the video!👍

Yes bees have been really bad this year they built the biggest nest under my dads floor it was 10" thick by 12" wide by 14" long it took me 2 nights to get the nest tore out and killed all of them I used 7 cans of hornet spray they had several floors built in it like apartment buildings and the patterns of the floors and walls it was wild wish I had took pictures of it the way they weaved the wood and what ever they make the nest out of and they were mixed small ones were yellow with two black rings around them and the big ones were yellow and one ring and were twice the size as the smaller ones looked like hornets mixed with the yellow jackets crazy looking and meanest bees I've ever came across had them in my yard also and always heard from older people if built in ground means a bad winter but I hope not . So glad to see y'all making another video there's another video site that lets you post on I can't remember what the name is since I brought this up was just talking about it to a friend seems that's how it goes but y'all stay safe stay healthy (the whole family) and keep the video's coming .

It is soooo sad that so few people actually have an opportunity to grow up knowing what it feels like to become a man. If you don’t grow up working like a man then when you see a young man actually working then I guess it scares you.
