Eleven years and only 4 comments. Wow. That's telling of the American mindset and the mindset of people in general. We can comment and prattle on endlessly about the superfluous fluff that is the latest Avengers movie, but we can't spare a moment to talk about hundreds of thousands of REAL African lives that should never have been lost? I saw this film in 2016, in April no less, and I'm proud to say that I own it. It was...a very heavy film for me to watch. Like a weight placed upon my shoulders by my ancestors. It was so weighty and so important that it sat with me for days after I watched it. It colored my view of life on the continent through awareness and it's an awareness that I still carry with me to this day. This is a movie concerning an unfathomable tragedy brought about as a direct result of European/French colonization and the fracturing of the continent by these powers in the late 1800's which needs to be watched, meditated upon, shared and remembered. Especially by DACS African-Americans and Africans living in America with strong ties to The Motherland. Don't let the memories of the 800,000 - 1,000,000 Tutsi who were raped, mutilated dehumanized and killed needlessly at the hands of their Hutu neighbors be forgotten. They should not have suffered and died in vein, alone and lost to history. Sometimes in April is important.

I don't have a good response to your comment. But i respect the time you put into writing it. *Sometimes in April is important*

Just because people dont comment does not mean they dont care
@samueltheprideofafrikarobi93194 жыл бұрын
@@evaflorio3864 I would almost accept that except that we live in age of social media culture. There's literally nothing that dosen't get commented on regardless of how petty on KZbin, Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram and etc. Regardless of how insignificant something is, there will be someone out in the wide world of 7B people who will say something about it. And for ANYTHING to go 11 years, get 75K views and only get 4 comments on this platform is very nearly statistically impossible. With only a little over 140 likes and 8 dislikes, less than %.2 of the people who watched this even cared enough to click a button on their way out. And the same thing happened on the movie's second trailer that was posted 3 or 4 years ago. 9K viewers, 28 likes and I was the first person to comment on it...4 months ago. Now, since then another 3 people have commented there. If you can find another video that's not this movie's trailer with stats that abysmal, I'll be surprised.

The people of Rwandan who participated in the killings and still alive today should be ashamed of themselves. How could you kill your kinds, what future were u dreaming of? Those who could stop this and didn't do anything to stop it quickly should be ashamed of themselves as well. Should President Paul Kagame have an hand in this may God be the Judge.

Human beings do not yet know how to prevent or stop genocides. It is the task of future generations to develop that skill. But we must keep always trying hard in the present, bc that’s the only way to learn. #TigrayGenocide NOW!!!!

It was kinda slow/low budget. Its very good detail wise but it sucks in the entertainment factor. Hole Rwanada was more pleasurable to watch.
