I am a non-verbal autistic person and therefore are a person of very few words! As soon as this scene happened I started to tear up. Sometimes people do forget to be quiet and peaceful. Thank you for animating this wonderful scene.

I use an AAC device to communicate because of a neuromuscular disease and I have autism too. TAZ is my special interest and always makes me happy. I love the representation they all put in and the community around it. I don't have any friends so it's so good to find someone like me who enjoys it too

So far, I’ve cried listening to every season because they touch on such real feelings, whether it’s loss, love, or social struggles, they somehow know just how to approach things with the perfect amount of comedy, reality, and warmth. I get so much joy and comfort out of TAZ and it makes me feel so good to see that I’m not alone in all of this.

“Forgets how to be quiet” implies (to me, anyway) that it’s more of a literal thing than a jab. It’s the concept of silence being awkward that makes people fill it with small talk, but there’s value in being ok not saying anything. In a sentence, you shouldn’t have to talk to appreciate company
