I own this poem a lot. I was changed after reading it the first time. I went from an advertising executive to an English teacher.

Okay does anyone else listen to la dispute? They are my favorite band, and I see some lyrics in this poem. I'm glad we both have such good taste

I am always brought nearly to tears by this poem. Your voice complements the phrasing beautifully; this is the only way I could imagine cummings being read. Thank you.

Her small hands massaged my heart to life. Then tore it from my chest...

This poem was included in the song The First Time I Loved Forever (theme of tv hit Beauty and the Beast). the song is wonderful, and the poem too, specially the voice who recite/read this poem.

Great poem and beautifully read. Half way through, I realized I had heard the poem before in Woody Allen's "Hannah and her Sisters." Michael Caine gives it to Barbara Hershey who reads a part of it in a very sexy voice-over. I love this channel.

Yes I have read The Raven. If you go to my channel page there's a Playlist for Poe. Or you can use the "Search Channel" box for the poet's name or title. Thanks for your appreciation, it helps a lot.

Great reading in deed. Found one videoed Al Pacino at Trinity College 2006. Too many noise at the background. Wonder if Larry King would put it here to share. :-P
