Every aspect of this song is fabulous...I thought that the pianist was just as amazing as Ms. Kim's violin. They are both great artists.

Absolutely fantastic rendition of this famous John Barry theme from the film Somewhere In Time. And as far as I am concerned, Chee-Yun Kim could play his entire repertoire!! :-)

corr. "dynamics". Her bowing technique is also the best I have ever heard.....MAYBE Fritz Kreisler matched her bowing technique.

I have been listening to her since 1993 when I first heard her at a radio show at a Classical Annex of Tower Records. After hearing her playing then live and on cd, I've compared her sound, technique, power, dynaimics and emotional content within each piece etc..etc.. and she is in my opinion and many others, in the top 3 or so Violin Masters of the last 30 years. Sarah Chang gets many accolades but Chee Yun's playing is better pretty much all around compared to Chang, IMO.
