Thank you all for watching. If you’re new or unfamiliar with my content, I record military cadences by request of service members and veterans. My goals are to: 1. Preserve History - By recording time-honored and beloved marching songs 2. Inspire - Those who have lost their motivation or need to re-light the fire they had on day zero. 3. Be a resource - For service members and military schools in need of call-and-response cadences for training. 4. House homeless veterans - By donating a portion of proceeds toward organizations putting in the work to take care of our people. -By raising awareness and bringing attention to the good work being done in our community. Thank you for all your support through these last few years and I’m very excited to be able to bring you this newest volume.

I spent most of my career in Special Forces and we did very little drill and ceremony. I have always enjoyed listening to soldiers call cadence, especially when the man out front (MFIC) knew what he was doing and had the voice to carry it.
@carloskeith31414 ай бұрын
Even in retirement, my wife will catch me calling cadences while we are doing cardio (run or even a fast walk). She’d ask “would you go back in?” And I tell her, “I loved and hated it. But yep, in a heartbeat!” 🫡

I am sixteen years old and am currently a Staff Sergeant in Civil Air Patrol, the USAF Auxiliary. My father is an ex-Marine who reached the grade of Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps. Ever since I was ten, I've wanted to follow in his footsteps and serve in the Marine Corps as well. I call these jodies all the time when marching my flight, and this is one of my favorites. And Jonathan, let me tell you, every time I worry about the future, or doubt that I can make it in the Marine Corps, I listen to these jodies, and that's all I need to rekindle that flame. Thank you for all you do. I salute you, and all others who are serving and who have served.

Ma'am, I am a sixteen-year-old Staff Sergeant in Civil Air Patrol, the USAF Auxiliary. For years, I have wanted to follow in my father's footsteps and join the USMC. I understand your fiance's sacrifice and mourn him with you. He will not be forgotten, and I am proud that I will soon serve the same country he did. I am sure he was a great man, and a loving husband. I salute him and all others who served alongside him. I hope that this young cadet's words are of some comfort to you, and I hope you find healing. Thank you.
@wiisedude10 күн бұрын
Ma’am, I am so, so sorry for your loss. Everybody who has sacrificed their lives for this country must be remembered and revered. My buddy is enlisting in the Army, he’ll be going to basic training in January, and he’s immediately going overseas on deployment. I’m proud of him for defending the country, of course, but I’m so worried for him. I hope you are able to eventually find peace, and I know that your fiancé is at peace where ever he may be. There’s a phrase that this creator made while he was serving our country, just like your fiancé. He said, “We Stand on the Shoulders of Giants”. Your fiancé is one of those giants that we stand on the shoulders of, and without him, we may not even be where we are today. I hope that you find ways to always remember him, and I wish that I will one day get to serve and uphold his legacy.

@@LandonHenry-p8lSir, the first thing that I want to say to you is that you are an absolutely amazing young man. To go out of your way to say kind words is amazing, and you have done that. I’m almost 19 years old, former AFJROTC Cadet Lieutenant Colonel, Inspector General within my unit before I graduated this summer; your message is amazing, you embody the Air Force’s values amazingly, and I am both proud and honored to call you a brother, as that is what this is; it’s a brotherhood, gender respective, and we are some of the luckiest people in this country to call ourselves even a tiny bit correlated to the Giants, the Giants that we stand on the shoulders of. Always remember: Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence in All We Do. No matter what branch, follow those. They shoot straight as an arrow.

Hits hard. My entire family is military, going back almost 1000yrs. I've seen too much family torn to pieces and then re-deploying or taking the Remington retirement plan because that's all they can do now. Combine that with the severely dark humor and the compounded ptsd that comes down through the years from being legacy.... I didn't know until I hit public school age that it's not normal for a child to know how to pop a shoulder back in. We've got a full out wall of folded flags at the house. Almost joined them myself. I'm out now, medical, fucking TBI that I still say I could have ignored. Can't seem to hold down a civilian job, aside from fire rescue which is seasonal here, currently looking for a new one but if you put military on your resume you won't get hired and if you don't they inevitably ask about the 10yr gap in your employment history.
