I’m 65, will be 66 in two weeks. I was in the Air Force stationed at Torrejon AB, just outside of Madrid Spain when this song was released by Ace. As most young GI’s, a nice stereo system was as vital as air. When I got this album, I wore it out playing it over and over. This song brought all of that back.

Paul Carrack has appeared on many other artists recordings over the years...his voice is so adaptable to just about any kind of music...multi talented on so many levels. I've always had the impression Paul never wanted to be pigeon holed musically and prefers intimate settings for his performances...what a gift he remains to all music lovers. I have his CD's programed into my IPod and blast the shit out of them while driving...my favorites "Sleep On It"..."Eyes of Blue"..."Let Me Love Again"...I could go on and on.... absolutely adore the sounds of Paul Carrack.

Back in 1987, i was working at WKZL, Winston-Salem....Paul Carrack dropped by as he was promoting his new song "dont shed a tear". I had a chance to spend a while with him....incredibly SUPER NICE guy!! What a stellar singer too.
