@@ManvenderRawlot that's a problem because your 275 marks will not be considered in giving admission as we all know the competition will going to be higher so they will give admission according to the paper difficulty in your respective course I mean that let us say that you want ECE and cut off is 266 you scored 275 in session 1 but a person who score 267 in session 2 he will be gave first admission

Please tell if a guy who wants to start a startup in AI field but does not have a score for cse in bits should opt for : dual or single( in branches like mech or chem) .As for dual the pros are : 1) chances of getting cse 2) one year extra of college The cons are : 1) There may be more workload due to 2 degrees, which could possibly take time that could be invested in starting up . 2) One of the two degrees become like an extra burden due to lack of interest . The single degree - Pros : 1)availability of more time and less of a burden ( which could be used to learn cs from other online platform or as minors in bits) Cons : The degree that you are studying for may be totaly worthless for you in terms of application

Hi bhayya, I too don't have a great score in BITSAT and wanted to take a dual degree to try and get computer science. You said you took Msc Bio, because it was easy, but as a PCM student who basically not touched bio far two years would MSC Bio be difficult for me? Would Msc Phy or Msc Chem be better in terms of study ease and scoring a good CGPA?. Some tips please Bhayya

Also Bhayya, you chose Goa over Pilani because the lowest BE branch you would get was chemical, if things didn't work out, while in Pilani a low CGPI would get you civil or something. So that was risk assessment on your side. From where can we find the exact data about this to make an informed decision?

No idea... competition is increasing but there is new branch as well...no one can be sure about cutoffs... Specially high scorers generally have many options (iits, nits or other colleges) so it depends how many people want to take admission
