Paco Peña (born 1 June 1942) is a Spanish flamenco guitarist. He is regarded as one of the world's foremost traditional Flamenco players.

Can someone give me recommendation for more flamenco compositions like this? What type of flamenco is this? Gipsy Kings and Paco de Lucia are too modern for this. Thank you friends! :)

This is a more traditional style of flamenco that yes Paco de Lucia also played on his early records. Ramon Montoya, Niño Ricardo and Sabicas and are the prime examples of traditional flamenco. Sabicas took it further and encouraged a young Paco de Lucia to do the same. Paco Peña seemed to prefer to stay with the traditional mixing the 3 earlier maestros styles.

Carlos Montoya is another one to listen to but he's a very agressive player. Fascinating for a while but a bit too heavy, almost violent but great too. It's said he was always trying to compete with Sabicas who played very fast but smoother and cleaner.

Тодор Димитријевић What? Paco was the Bruce Lee of flamenco! He could literally do anything. Listen to his old stuff. Diego del Gastor, Ramon Montoya and Mario Escudero are excellent older flamencos. I'd stay away from Carlos Montoya. Both my teachers said he was garbage; mainly because he ignored compás.
