This is the story of a California mom (Jennifer Strange) who entered a radio contest called “hold your wee for a Wii.” She was trying to win a Wii game console for her kids. You would think that drinking a gallon and a half of water wouldn’t be harmful but it was for her, she died a few hours after the contest due to “hyponatremi” or more commonly known as water intoxication. I remember how it was when PS2's came out in 2001 or so, they were so hard to get as most games shops were sold out of them for the first few months due to massive preorders. I had to wait until 2003 to get one on sale after the hype fell.
