Does mount/ no mount affect stats that much? I see that dragon mounts reduce weapon strength and melee attacks but a horse mount still seems to have the same offensive and defensive stats as being on foot (for tyrion)

@@loreofmetal5604 there are hidden stats such as mass which contribute greatly to a units power, lager untis = more mass = more power. also mounted units cant be thrown around as much, when lords are on foot they spend quite alot of the time being knocked over which doesn't happen when mounted, mount stats also don't display on a mount until you equip it.

Mount affects not stats. In Total War units have weight. So when heavy dragon hits light Tyrion - he just fly away and cant attack. But there is also hidden mechanic: When unit on the ground - he is invulnarable.

On this note back in September I wrote a nightmarish vision of the future told from Teclis’ perspective in which Malekith had seized the Phoenix Throne, married Alarielle who indeed had fallen to Khaine’s corruption and was in the process of eradicating the kingdom of Caledor for taking up arms against him. However I would also point out that regardless of that their mother son parenting relationship is horrible in the extreme. Malekith literally wants to kill all her lovers and then stop her plans for the world,which is understandable and threatened her to be the plaything of a keeper of secrets. Their relationship may not be sexual but it is really really horrible nonetheless.

I sometimes wonder who the majority of people would root for: the druchii or the asur? I myself prefer the Druchii and it's sort of funny to me when I play total war warhammer 2 because in my opinion, the two most legitimate leaders of the high elves are both actually dark elves and start out in Naggaroth (Malekith and Morathi). And I always enjoy playing a campaign as one of them where I conquer Ulthuan as them.

funny to think about how Malekith ended up being like this when in originally when he was not chosen to be the new phoenix king, he actually accepted it and allowed the chosen prince to become the phoenix, but then as the centuries went on and the asur failed more and more in both war, finances, and magical control because the chosen prince had ended up being incompetent at practically EVERYTHING, and only then did Malekith decide that he should be king after all, but the flames disagreed because of the way he god rid of the former king.

Flames didn't disagree. Every Phoenix King, including Aenarion himself, needed a protective spell before going into the shrine. It was just a ceremony to present a new Phoenix King which must appear to be unaffected by the flames. In reality, Aenarion was burned and reborn by the flames on the spot. Had Malekith stayed there a little longer, he would be born a new, just like Aenarion. Morathi told Malekith that his father didn't need the spell, and Malekith believed that to be true without knowing the nuances.
