Of course he did. Malekith and the White Dwarf were best friends. Snorri Whitebeard's [The White Dwarf] death is what finally broke the last 'good' part of Malekith. Malekith breaking the ancient oath he made on Snorri's deathbed [To preserve the friendship between their races] is what created the White Dwarf. Was never going to end any other way!
