Hello! The first 5 minutes were the best summary I've heard of room acoustics. Nowhere can I find a description of how much DSP processor the sonarworks plugin eats. I thought the UAD console in the master automatically had the correction on it so you don't even need to use it in the DAW. Have you tried measuring the sonar corrected room back with REW or Sonarworks? Because I haven't found such a video anywhere over the years. Thanks for the video, if you have new experiences you are welcome to watch it!

Hi Joe! I really appreciate your comment. Makes me feel good that you appreciated the acoustics portion. That's a GREAT idea about measuring the correction, especially in REW! I'm gonna put my thinking cap on. ;)

When I heard about this, I was excited, but it doesn’t make any sense to me. It is not just the fact that we own both UA and Sonarworks and have to pay again for no advantages but actually to have more limitations. In MacOS, when you set SoundID as your main sound card, and for me, also in Ableton, off rendering is auto every time you render or bounce, and this correction goes to both my main and my ALT (second pair). So even if it was completely free, I don't get it. I’m willing to learn more about this in the future. Thanks for the video

I am hoping they get it more dialed in as time goes by. It is a great idea, and I like the prospect of set and forget. For that reason, the biggest problem in my mind is that the enabled state is not remembered by UA Console. Just that alone would be a BIG win for me. Thanks for watching my friend!!

They just fixed it turning off on boot it was a bug. The rest that you want I fully agree and want. My system is fully Apollo integrated
