After first hearing this song, very recently (While youtube mix started playing a lot of Nicoletta Rosellini while I listened to music, working) I've basically been looping this. Her voice is simply incredible. This is one of the few cases where I prefer a cover more than the original.

I've got to say about this song, sonata Arctica does it amazingly, but Nicoletta smashes it like it's nobody's business. A few weeks ago I sent Nicoletta a sound file of me singing Black Sails. The feedback that she gave me further cemented my ability as a vocalist. I'm also a yoga teacher, meditation instructor, sound healer, empowerment coach. I use my voice a lot, but in my life, I have been silenced a lot too. And I know that there are people on this channel that can feel this. And when I found this song, I started singing it, and the lyrics sucked up into my brain almost instantly, like I was meant to know this song. Because this is the song of victory for those who are not heard or seen, or their dreams are crushed to dust. We all have a right - to be heard to be seen to be loved to be free To believe in Something And sometimes it's our own flesh and blood that crushes our dreams. Don't allow it. You are a sovereign soul. You create your mountain. The song has majorly inspired me. And I put this here because I'm opening up my own vocal KZbin in a few weeks. I have many surprises planned. Probably because this is a lot worse than the original, she messes up the words (sometimes changing the meaning of the sentences), the mastering and mixing on this is almost non-existing. It's a good first try, but should have been recorded again and at least someone should have listened to it before putting it out on youtube.

@@jusatin The lyrics is so stupid that changing a few words doesn't make any difference. And special mixing & mastering is necessary in professional music, not in amatour cover (she is doing these covers herself, without the band). It is just a piece made for the raw beauty of the voice - and that's the only reason I have it on playlist, the song itself is boring and its pimped original version isn't interesting.

Nicoletta you are the one of my top discoveries of 2019. Both Kalidia & Walk in Darkness kick ass and your voice is outstanding. When the time comes and it will at least for 1 if not both bands will get big enough that it is worth your while to tour NA. I will be there even if I have to walk across country. This is an awesome performance of a killer song.

i just discovered this cover today and I have to say that this is remarkable! I went back and listened to the original afterward and, while it is still powerful, i think this version blows it away! The choir and orchestral arrangement towards the end are very powerful and give this a real boost of emotion! Awesome job!
