One of the most beautiful acoustic moments ever in my opinion. The vocals are calming, guitars work in a great synch and the fire makes it seem like it would be a camping trip.

LETRAS Mamas put your babies to sleep, story too cruelsome for them this is. In Junior high she said goodbye to her parents and ran away with a boy. She left her family warm and kind, all of her friends said "you´re out of your mind". Life of her own she would find, it´s Monday and she´s gotta grind. A Job as a waitress she sure was to find, beautiful face, mind of a child. Boy got her pregnant, Mary-Lou cried, " For this I am too young Oh why did you lie" You said "it´s okay if we do it today", I was so scared that you would go away. "Despite all the papers been signed, Mama take me back be so kind". Only a child, reckless and wild, needs to come home again. He promised the moon but won´t marry you. Nothing to do, eating for two, he´s goin´ out with someone new. Sunshine or rain, it´s all the same, life isn´t gray Oh Mary-Lou. Mamas do your children still sleep, In the safe of their cradles so sweet. Story I told you I have forseen, Your little angel ain´t always so clean. Days to come aren´t easy to see, You can change ´em but it isn´t free. I see that you don´t believe, ooo-oo, but you will see.

Dana, my darling, I'm writing to you. Cause your father passed away, it was a beautiful day And I don't want to bother You anymore, I used to hope you'd come back But not anymore Dana. My eyes might have betrayed me, but I have seen Your picture on the cover of a filthy magazine And I think my heart just cannot handle that Dana, my darling, would be so bad. Dana my darling I'm writing to you Your mother passed away it was a really rainy day And I didn't mean to bother you anymore Your mother wished: Come visit your fathers grave, Dana Your father disowned you because you have sinned But he did forgive you in condition he was in And I you won't do those things anymore Dana My darling I'm waiting for Dana O'Hara oh, Dana my dear, How I wish that my Dana was here Little Dana O'Hara decided one day To travel away, faraway No, you can't surprise me anymore I have seen it all before But it seems I cannot let you go Anyhow, Dana, Dana, Dana, Dana And I think that I told you, I'd wait for you forever Now I know someone else's holding you, So, for the first time in my life - I must lie Lie's a sin, mess that I am in, Love is not the thing I feel know I promise you: I won't write again 'til the sun sets Behind your grave Dana, oh, Dana I'm writing to you, I heard you passed Away it was a beautiful day I'm old and I feel time will come for me, my diary's Pages are full of thee Dana O'Hara oh, Dana my dear, How I wish that my Dana was here Little Dana O'Hara decided one day To travel away, far away

Probably the most influential band for me personally. And definitely the first band I recommend to anyone looking for some good music. I can't really say I've been here since the beginning (only discovered them after the release of Days of Grays), but it's been a good 7 years, during which my views on life and my own music taste has evolved; which I consider Sonata to have influenced greatly.

It has influenced me big time too. Since I was 14 all the way up to my current age of 25 I've been heavily influenced by the songs of this band, the only band I have never ever gotten tired of listening to.

On Spotify, the song is played in Dm. Here, they play it in Am. Way to low for the solo and his voice. Still beautiful though. Just my opinion :)

I have no words to express how much I am impressed by your Sonata Arctica covers. SA is my favourite band but I think they wouldn't make better acoustic versions of SGHN songs themselves. Instrumental part is flawless and so are vocals - they are so similiar to Tony Kakko's. I did not anticipate to find person who could imitate his voice so well. I'd love to see you guys live one day. Btw do you only make covers or create your own songs as well and do you do non-acoustic modern stuff as well?.

Lamentablemente no pude estar ahí pero no hay mejor concierto de acústico que este ! Sonata arctica de lo mejor de finlandia !
