Sonata Shark Fin Fix

Have you ever broke your car going through a car wash? Well we did, and I fixed it for $3. See what was broke and how it was "fixed" in this video. I have the same problem! I can't find a cover to fit over the circuit board. The radio works, it's just no cover. Blew off in hard rain! Dealer wants $300 plus to do the whole thing. I don't need it. Just a big enough cover! 🙄🤔

Try Facebook market place or a junkyard. Good luck with the fix. If you can find a cover what I did works very well!

Where did you find a cover that fits? My fin fell off and I can't find one that fits around the black edge and tall enough for the green fin

I went back to the carwash and they had found it so that is the oem original that came with the car. I could not find an option I was okay with paying. So If you can find your original cover the jb weld works great! It is still holding strong with ZERO issues.

I like you, your funny bro , same shii happen to me bouta week ago but I had to get a new cap off eBay , and I was gonna do it the “right way” pulling the liner off and crap , but If you say it’s been holding up almost a year looks like Jbs gonna be my buddy on this one
