Very nice and helpful video. I wanted to see what it looked like underneath that thing because all of a sudden I can no longer tune in to Sirius Xm and the antena was a likely culprit.

@@miscellaneousguy3803 Neither. It's trying to update then it's "preparing" but it never ends. I believe I can rule out the antenna which is a good thing because I didn't trust myself putting everything back into place!

I was trying to find a tutorial on how to remove the shark fin antenna on my 2016 Mazda 3i hatchback. I'm guessing they are all similarly installed. Mine has become loose and I want to tighten it before too much water gets under the seal and into the roof liner. On a side note, the speaker that carries the Bluetooth calls and navigation voice-over has become garbled. The quality of the sound coming out of that speaker is somewhat compromised, while all the other speakers sound fine. I'm wondering if a cable came loose in the antenna and if it could somehow affect the speaker that carries the Bluetooth/navigation sound.
