Iddo van der Giessen (1995) is a concert organist and church musician. A native of The Netherlands, he is presently Cantor and Organist at the Protestant congregation of the Goede Herderkerk in Rotterdam. He graduated with a 9 out of 10 for his Master of Music degree at the Royal Conservatory, having been student of Jos van der Kooy. Iddo completed his education in Liturgical Music at the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. He participated in lessons and masterclasses with Ronald de Jong, Bert Mooiman, Geert Bierling, Hayo Boerema, Anton Pauw, Leo van Doeselaar and Ludger Lohmann. He recorded CDs in Rotterdam and Haarlem (St. Bavo) and regularly publishes articles about (church) music, liturgy and history.
