Sonax products are so good. I've been using the polimer net shield for years on my cars. I need to try the Ceramic.

Hell yea brother. Obviously i got to hear bit about it b4 see vid. But shit it looks pritty user friendly man. Seen other vids of other brands of ceramic coatings and looks alot harder. In the way they apply differently and really critical of application. Looks killa bro 🤘

only ceramic coating ive used was on a custom car, couldnt get stainless steel A/C fittings had to polish mild steel fittings then used a little detail gun .5mm tip. its like water and is a super thin coating. 4 years later the film is still on the fittings.

This looks very similar to what they sell with new cars in the UK. Unfortunately the people who apply this do it in around an hour or 2 and obviously just doasnt work but I myself am a painter and used the exact same process of what you have done with the same product the dealers use and have had long lasting results , but could you possibly do a review on the ceramic coatings? I know there are some brands what are very different to apply but with a 5yr protection if you can get your hands on it.

Here is another one for you Mr Gunny. This is a very long ranger 34 way test of basic ceramic sealers. There is one product that is standing out for over a year and it costs about $12 per bottle as posted per the tester. Very tedious and elaborate test.

It's great stuff mate. I'm not an expert on it but from what I gather it's a good one, it's easy to apply and I think it will last quite a while. I hear you can even use some other products like nano sprays as a top-up every few months.

Soft paint is referring to the newer vehicles clear that is on the softer side and scratches easily. Some cars I have to use a wool cut pad to get any correction done then some cars I can use a medium cut foam pad and polish to get the same results.

@@TheGunmanChannel. I have 2 flex machines, I have one of their rotary machines and a forced rotation/ gear driven machine. I think they are nice machines to say the least but they are spendy. Depending on what you pay, I think you will enjoy it for sure! I know someone is gonna bust my balls if it say this BUT! if you have used a rupes, you have used a flex.. they are very comparable machines

If you was detailing alot I would understand. The 21 will create alot more heat and do alot more work in 1 area over the 15. I use everything from a 8-21 but I would think just being a painter you would be after more throw?

Contaminants can get into paint on a new car in factory and transportation. Highly recommend going through all the steps he listed to ensure finish is as clean as possible.

I know nothing about ceramic coatings, what do they do and are they worth it? Can you apply it to any car paint? Thanks for the site!

It's a thin layer of what I believe is quartz crystal that protects the paint. There's so many people saying so much about ceramic coatings that it can be hard to cut through all the BS. But it is a thin layer that provides protection from sun and weather.

I tried using the 0000 steel wool on mine to get the super dried water stains off, it helped but I can still see it there 😔, do u know of any realy good products that will get the water stains off my glass gunny, big thanks in advanced

Take a pack of citric acid and dissolve it in a spray bottle. Spray the windows and leave it on for a minute before you wash your car to remove old stains. Before you wash your car prepare a garden shower with 5L of distilled water. I always sprinkle my car with distilled water aftee I wash it to avoid any watermarks. People use all kinds of special fabric to dry their cars after washing, but I'm a chemist and this is how we wash laboratory glass.

Hello, some the ceramic hard coatings that i have seen on KZbin require several hours of dry time before you can take your car out again. They have Extremely hydrophobic properties that last for years. They are made from a substance that is used to destroy end cease engines. It goes to a very hard glass type cotaing. Forgotten what it is called. The ceramic wax coatings you have that flash off straight away ... im not sure how long they will last. Keep an eye on it. The professional stuff, if you can get your hands on it .. it expensive and if you apply it wrong, you can seriously damage your pannels paintwork. If that happens, they are a massive nightmare to fix.

Your paint sounds like sand paper gunny.sounds like there is still overspray on the bonnet. That will effect the durability and hydrophobicity of the coating. Hopefully that’s just the sound of the pad.

It must have been the pad, but I could definitely hear it too. Not sure if you saw the first video from last week but I gave the whole car a clay bar, buff & polish so it was ultra clean paint I went over.
