Good evening, I have had that gun for a year to do my little jobs and it is great for the quality-price ratio. very satisfied

This looks like it would work in a single stage paint job, everybody says if you mess up a single stage you have to respray.

Guys I’ve been a paint rep for now 4 different paint system companies (currently AkzoNobel & PerfectCoat) and I can tell you that the color match of PPG will give pretty much the same amount of problems as any other system because they all have basically the same formula data base. Unless you have a spectrometer scanner and a good eye and idea for tones and variations you really cannot trust just the paint system.

I could teach a monkey to use Axalta on 90% of the colours you just mix and paint

What are your Top 3 easy guns to paint with? I like flg5 because it’s easy to set up and sprays good and different pressures. Iwata w400 because top built quality and overall good in all categories. What others guns spray good at different air pressure?

I spray sikkens autobase and never have any problems but the boss is talking like he is wanting to switch to sikkens Autowave 2.0 and it is making me nervous . I’ll be heart broken I have so many sprayout cards in my library it isn’t even funny . I don’t really ever have to do sprayout cards much anymore unless it is a newer color and the thought of having to restart my collection of sprayout cards is crazy to me

It's an old gun, not sure if you'd ever find one in AUS but the iwata lph-400 1.3 with an orange cap, is a clear laying monster and I haven't found a gun to outdo it yet

Dear Gunman, I recently taken a intrest in panel beating, from watching online KZbin videos. I think your videos are really terrific. I love how informative and "real" you are about what your doing and your finishes. I'm a tradie in construction, so quite different to you . But i find the prep, fill sand and espocally the spraying really amazing. Your are an amazing tradesman, very passionate and dedicated. And it shows with the end results. Keep up the amazing work.

I worked with Nexa Autocolor Aquabase which is basically the same system as PPG and I had the same problems. we work in parallel with Glasurit 90 line and 22 line, it was a pleasure to work with Glasurit and the paint chips were spot on. But with Aquabase it was quite complicated

How do you wash the microfibres, just hot water or with a wash powder? Have you ever painted mipa solvent based coat? I'm struggling with it as it's nothing like max meyer it goes down lumpy and dries really slow

I know this video is 6 years old now.. But still... Video's like this are timeless... Seeing someone new, Learning how to paint, Learning tips and tricks on how to give great results..... So damn good to see... And spraying metallic silver too!!! In my opinion.. The hardest colour to get correct..... As i say.. Timeless :)

PPG suck you in with an over price system that they use to put in your shop on a contract . Do they still?then the support is crap I think the chemists sit back making up unproductive in the shop answers to make a company more money I've spoken to the team that release the variance were they only need to be 45% accurate to release to the market. All the PPG like 3m tec Supourt is in their big brother country it's not it's not acceptable I personally don't reckon the clears are fully tested for Australian UV conditions

I love that you call them just Systems somehow the word "lean" "kanban" "agile" bugs me... I just don't like things named with acronyms. My uncle was part of Moosehead beers kanban team and he sets up systems on everything it never stops here can't just do something even in his personal life.
