Another cool tutorial mate 👍 For the blink I like to separate the eyes to their own layer in illustrator and use y scale with loop property. Pretty handy to save it as a preset as this can be used with almost all character animations :)

Great Video. For the Blink Technique, You can do the same, but also create a path for your blink layer, and make the path so it looks like proper blinking, like you will feel the eye blinking, rather than appearing and disappearing. I learned this from "School of motion" they are expensive though haha

thank you so much for the detailed intro and explanation for basic motion graphic animation. i'm wondering would it be better if the desk is in another layer so you dont need to fix it with pins in advance, and seperate the arms and hair so they can move more naturally without distorting the face and torso?

make a tut on shortcuts in AE, if any good ones. Like a shortcut that can make rotation keyframe on selected layer without seeing rotation or how to create that type shortcuts if possible. A shortcut to assign a keyframe to pos rot and scale all these three? like that. And others.! If u can plz!

Dude, this is just lazy. Show them how to animate 1 element of that drawing properly each week and then add them all together, which do you think will be better? A composite done in an hour, or an animation that was carefully crafted bit by bit?
@SonduckFilm4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your feedback. There was 3 different animations I showed. Which could be used to animate every object in this tut. This tutorial isn't for beginners, that's why I linked another tut that would be better suited. Thoughts?
@Xandercorp4 жыл бұрын
@@SonduckFilm Saw the other one too and commented if I remember well. If you're trying to teach others, then teach as for beginners, the idea of making a tutorial for advanced users and showing rotation, position and scale modifier techniques isn't exactly gonna land you a lot of views. But then again... what do I know? Best of luck with it, dude.
@SonduckFilm4 жыл бұрын
That makes sense and I agree with you. Unfortunately, it's really tough figuring out what's gonna do well and what isn't going to do well. I'm always experimenting. Some videos do better or worse than expected. This video so far is my best performing one out of my last 10. I've been focusing on audience retention, and my goal is to keep people as engaged as possible.
